Sure, I just wanted to give a somewhat more constructive viewpoint after seeing the draft.

You might want to break this out into your own thread by the way. I know I always get irritated when someone proposes a new team in my proposal threads.

The teams free stuff is beyond pathetic. A goblin cheater team will feel cheated because their weapons will be pointless, why bother starting the chainsaw if you can simply block the guy for the same effect instead?

The idea has potential but needs alot of development. I'm not crazy about their need to freeboot a hard core of players every game, possibly adding overpriced Zombis to the team (in limited numbers) as permanent players might work.

ok, so nearly all in favor of no freebooted zombis

so we @ 0-2 Aboms
0-2 Bat Swarms
0-2 Necromancers
0-12 Zombis
0-4 Wererats

Sounds about right

4 Wererats with RSC (along with the 2 MB Abominations)?

That sounds really excessive bashing-wise.

(I agree in that I'm against freebooted zombis, though.)

Fragile?

AV6 + Regen isn't shabby.

I'd go 0-2 on the W-rats.

The bigger question is: What are the final stats/skill access for the Zombis?

My suggestion is simply:
0-12 30K 3 2 2 7 Regenerate S

I'm down with that, or

2 2 2 6 Regen and Stand Firm

I think Strength skills sounds about right. Yeah, they'll get guard, but with the 2 MA/stand firm choice, they will only stand up half the time if knocked down, and 2 MA means they're getting nowheres fast. Means you have to be clever with placement, and that the positionals have to be relied on to score, but you won't be able to go too fast for fear of leaving your zombis in the dust.

If you go 0-4 on wererats, I'd get rid of claws/RSC, and give them frenzy instead, with only access to A skills. that way, they may be able to get additional blocks, but no access to armor helpers/injury helpers. Though I'd have to say I like the idea of 0-2 choice with either claws or RSC instead.

plus, if you go 0-4 on wererats, a player would only have to ever field one line-zombi. at least by keeping it 0-2, they have to put 3 on pitch, if they have all positionals.

Anyone thought about giving bat swarms pogo stick? it'll give them leap and potential extra movement, but no hands means no scoring, and it will also give them the opportunity to be thrown out of the game...Leap could be seen as them flying high...well...high enough to get over the opposing player...

Swarms are AG4+ Stunty.. that's a 2+ dodge anywhere.. When would you leap?

I had exactly that thought, and I agree that it's better if animals can be sent off, but Bats really don't seem very bouncy to me...

pogo = unlimited leaps

A bat swarm with a pogo stick just feels very strange. I really do not like it.
