I have applied with a soft and fluffy team called "Munchikens". Lots of weird humor, Finnish fluff and ready-to-die 'flings. |

I'm sure it's screamingly funny for Finns, but when are we - the minority of Fumbblers that don't speak Finnish - supposed to laugh?
I want weird humour and funny fluff, not a screed in a foreign language with a lot of i's and ä's... |

Indeedio. I'm going to submit a team with fluff all written in Swahili... As soon as I find a dictionary that is 8^) |

Just paste in some random quotes from Kalevala. At least we Finns can then laugh at the fluff you made up.
To be more "serious": the fluff is an altered version of the beginning chapter of Snobitti, a parody of the Hobbit that has been written entirely in Finnish. Lucky for you, most of it has been translated into English and can be found here: http://personal.inet.fi/koti/tolkienfan/snobbite.htm
Of course, the book is even more hilarious in the original language. Because I saw that quite many Finnish coaches had already signed up, I decided to keep the fluff in Finnish as well. Once I get extremely bored at school, I might also translate some of it. :p |

Just saw that you now have been extremely bored at school and done the translation.
Thanks! It is indeed weird and funny...
I especially like the idea of calling a proud treeman "The Log" |

ok, I did not know that was a possibility for this kind of match.
I thought that only the unrankede halfing team were to be used.
(not that I would use ogres, I like my treemen) |
Can we have an official answer about this? Especially when we have to consider that the BGs from moved Stunty Leeg teams have access to general skills... |

Big Guys in unranked don't have access to general skills in the unranked division even if they are moved from the Stunty Leeg.
At the information is stated this:
"WHO CAN JOIN?
Anybody can join with new unranked halfling team.
All teams must be submitted before 7.2.2005"
There is nowhere to say that the unranked team can't be a transfered one from the Stunty Leeg. |

I think Stunty Halflings moved to unranked can get general skills on the Big Guys, but I might be wrong. And as you said:
"WHO CAN JOIN?
Anybody can join with new unranked halfling team.
All teams must be submitted before 7.2.2005"
And not Stunty Leeg Halfling team moved to unranked |

Let's say it's more challenging. Anyway, I'll keep my non-general skill Trees :=) |

You know. I have a feeling you won't actually PLAY with these teams. Though that's just a hunch. |

wow! wait a sec! cheating? My team IS unranked and my team IS halflings which means that I'm in the rules as stated.
I had no idea that the Ogres would have access in general skills until yesturday that I saw the snotlings of my next opponent at the Castunalty League having block and tackle on their Trolls. I asked him if he got doubles for all those skills and he replied that his Big Guys just had access in general skills. Then he told me that his team was a moved one from the Stunty League.
Now, you should be grateful that I verify the general access to Big Guys moved from the S. I could keep this a secret and then at the league you would face the Bloke and Tackle without knowing where they came from. Now that you know, you can go and fix teams with General access to Big Guys instead of whining.
If the moved teams are not accepted, I would like the admins of the league to let me and all the other coaches that have teams like mine, know and add to the league page, the info that the moved teams from the S league are not accepted. |
