Well, I'd intended to give Nick Headwhack the Kick skill, but he rolled doubles, and Necro needs more guard. When it came time for Eddie to skill, that was the only think left that the team was missing.

Can't blame me for wanting a kicker with six MA 6 or faster players on the squad. Especially after our last match, when you stole a TD off a blitz result.

had 2 players after builders at 4 SPP, didn't seem right to play another and add one more MVP to someone else.

League staff saw fit to let him skill anyway

Nothing like a bit of a breather game to get the champs back on track.

So, what do you think have been the most important games so far?

I think in Week 1 it has to have been Blitzburgh rolling over Cincinatti. In week 2, I'm inclined to take either Detroilet shutting out the High Kings, or Atlatl's beatdown on a half-staffed Carolina squad. I'd like to hear some counter-arguments.

I agree with your Week 1 pick: no one saw that coming.

For Week 2 I could say the epic beatdown Miami laid on New Angryland, as it could have longstanding effects on the Bulltrors for the season(looking at Week 3: it didn’t.) Also, Malice against New Yorc, as this match cemented Malice’s spot in first place in the NFC East, but more so because of the injury suffer by their ball carrier, Woody "Pro Pot" Harrelson. Harrelson’s injuries were healed via a potion, which means the next bash team to lay that hobgoblin flat may do so permanently(Weeks 4, 6, and 7.)

I think Carolina in Week 1 will have rippling implications for the rest of the division.

Week 2, hard to say but I do like the Malice pick.

I aim to implicate. But I only killed 2 good players, it only wrecked them for 1 game beyond the one they took the damage in (a division game, against a good team, in which they lost a third good player). It's a rough start, but can be overcome.

Oh yeah, and:

Rising: Malice, New Angryland, Lustriadelphia, San Foulcisco.
Falling: Blitzburgh, Jacksonville. Not sure about Indianapolis. Their tie against Houstovania is a sign that the wheels may actually be falling off. Then again, Jacksonville got whomped by San Foulcisco, so I can't move the division leader down too much from #11, if at all.

When is Malice vs Weaklington? If Malice wins that game there's no way they don't rocket into the top 5 or so. The JRPR I gave them was based on one win and a forfeit tie, and doesn't befit a team with two legitimate Ws. If I had it to do over again with knowledge of the outcome of that game, Malice would be in the top 10 (but not in the top 5). New Yorc may rise slightly on the grounds that they showed up, even if they haven't really won a game yet.

Minnesota vs Green Ball
Seattle vs Arizona
Tampa vs Atlatl
San Dogo vs Keg City
Denvork vs Oakland

Blitzburgh continues their roll in Week 4, capitalizing on not one, but TWO defensive touchdowns.
