I bet your DM ... wishes he had more openminded/better players ...

Yeah, ad hominem always helps if you want to discuss.

what is to discuss? D&D sucks. Period. How is it better than other systems? It isn't except you can get more players to play it because more ppl want to murder and hoard treasure.

Sounds like what draws people to WoW.

If you wish to discuss the D&D system, please start a new thread in the off-topic forum.

I'm considering buying the game for Christmas after seeing it here. This is great advertising for them imo.

He spent months learning the fireball moves at the top of a mountain in Nepal.

AFAIK there was no definitive result. They sent a letter, at the same time other sites got letters too. There are 2 strong theories on why they chose to do this, probably it's a mixture of the 2.

They requested the site met certain requirements.

They being:

1. Remove parts that were GW IP (namely pictures of GW miniatures and artwork etc).

2. Remove the direct link to downloading a client that plays the game of Bloodbowl.

These requirements were met to the sites best ability on the directions given. I guess it would be up to GW to inform Christer on any aspects they felt the site hasn't met.

It can be difficult in making sure there are no GW IP stuff on the site, when coaches try to upload such stuff. So we take a 'better be safe than sorry' policy and anything that could be, is refused.

the admin spent weeks removing anything that could be seens as an infringment of GW IP from the site, they stopped hosting the old client on site, you had to download it elsewhere, they removed all GW artwork, and miniatures etc....
