ImageGreetingz Sports fans, in this edition of the Spurting Newz, we have death aplenty!!! With one game yet to go, we have a total of 7 fatalities in Round 3 play! The NWL Veteran Division continues to set a bloody precedent on wanton bloodshed as teams play vicious bloodbowl in an effort to make it to the big leagues! Rivalries form, ill-will is generated, and vengeance is plotted. Heheh

By the way, our sponsors this week are the folks down at Imperial Cathay Buffet, where they have, after signing a recent deal with the NWL and the Apothecary Union, a surplus of Elf-brain soufflé…my mouth is just watering for some…urk, eck, Braaaaainnnzzz!

NWL Veteran Round up

Round 3
Faithful Rot 1 vs Altmer_Dragons 2
In the unexpected surprise of the week, the Altmer_Dragons suffer horrendously in their win against the Faithful Rot. 4 dragons will never set foot on the pitch again! We bid adieu to #3 Turion, #6 Irenore, #9 Sinyaniss, #12 Avolo. The dragons were picked pre-season to certainly vie for a position in the Premier Division next season and were the #1 pick for a Vet title this season. This match certainly puts those predictions into question. The Rot continues to disappoint offensively but their D was offensive enough, at least to Dragon fans.

NEXT ROUND: Faithful Rot vs. Denton Stompers, Altmer_Dragons vs. Goliad Goliaths

Denton Stompers 2 vs. Goliad Gauntlets 0
The Stompers shocked the Vet by defeating, rather soundly, the Goliad Guantlets 2-0. Possibly more surprising was the seeming ease with which they accomplished this remarkable feat. At several points they nearly cleared the pitch of the gobsmacked human squad. The gauntlets hope to rebound next round vs. the severely damaged Dragons, but they’ll have to do so without the help of #2 Commander Mercer who was killed by the stompers.
NEXT ROUND: Stompers vs. Rot, Gauntlets vs. Dragons

Northern Spikes 2 vs. Looeyville Muggers 1
The Spikes continue their dominance of another quality opponent, the Looeyville Muggers. Muggers Rookie werewolf Jacques Claw-well had a great game recording a TD and 2 Casualties, but the solid play of the Orcs won out in the end. Both teams have a tough next round, where the winner could emerge as the new front-runner for the division title.
NEXT ROUND: Spikes vs. Dinos, Muggers vs. Bucs

Dinosaurs Ate My Baby! 0 Vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer's 4
Maybe it was the new dehumidifier the BSB staff installed in their stadium. Maybe DAMB are more fresh-water than salt-water reptiles. Whatever the reason, the BSB opened a can of whooparse on the Lizardmen. The early fireball was unprecedented! And the mayhem ensued! Both teams are still in contention, and both have some serious opposition next round!
NEXT ROUND: Dinos vs. Spikes, Bucs vs. Muggers

Round 4
Faithful Rot vs. Denton Stompers
This prediction is easier with the absence of Bishop Pussbearer. With the Beast this could be a closely run affair, but without him, I think the Rotters will struggle. The Stompers could also punish the Rot for their lack of agility and lack of an apothecary. Stompers win.

Altmer_Dragons vs. Goliad Gauntlets
While the Gauntlets are rebounding off a pounding from the Undead Stompers, they couldn’t schedule a better next match. The Dragons field 6 players, and despite their elvish abilities, they will not win this match, Unless Goliad lets down their guard, they should easily pound the dragons again, and win this match by 2 td’s. The damage dealt during this game may hold the fate of the Altmer team.

Northern Spikes vs. Dinosaurs Ate My Baby!
The Greenskins continue to roll onward toward the Premier Division. I think they will win this match easily. DAMB lost a saurus last match, and the skinks went out early, leaving the Dino’s without effective ball handlers. The Spikes will contain, and damage the lizardmen. Spike win 2-1.

Looeyville Muggers vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer's
These 2 teams are gonna slaughter each other. Both rosters are built with a pounding, in your face, gameplan in mind. The Muggers will sorely miss the strong Foundation of Zach Killin, who was laid low last week, not even the administrations of the Necromancer could save him. I think this may be the key to the game, so I will give the nod to the Blood Sea Buccaneer’s in this one!

NWL PREMIER Round up

Round 3
Premiere Kitties vs. NWL Steel workers union match not yet Played
NEXT ROUND: Kitties vs. Ice Nine, NWLSWU vs. Nufflucked

Valar Quendi 0 vs. Ice Nine 1
Ice Nine surprisingly struggled to contain the Elves of Valer Quendi. Both teams failed to score in the first half, with the Chaos Dwarf squad punching in the game’s only score as time expired. Its possible that Ice Nine was looking ahead to their next match vs. Premiere Kitties. Decent match winnings may help Valer Quendi begin to rebuild.
NEXT ROUND: Ice Nine vs. Premiere Kitties, NWL Steel Workers Union vs. Nufflucked

Nufflucked 0 vs. Cherorkee Waaagh Kownshul 2
190,000. That’s the number of gold pieces spent between these 2 teams on the match! Hthark the Unstoppable, and a pair of wizards were employed. But the Chaos dwarves struggled early and often, throughout the entire match it seemed they just couldn’t get things rolling. Neither of their investments in Hthark and the wizard seemed to pay off, tbh. The orcs actually failed late in the 1st half to score a 2nd TD, but were able to recover and score their second TD mid-way through the 2nd half and fireballed the ensuing offensive drive by Nufflucked. These teams are no strangers to one another, and each reunion promises a tough match!
NEXT ROUND: Nufflucked vs. NWL SWU, Cherorkee Nayshun vs. Valer Quendi

Round 4
Premiere Kitties vs. Ice Nine
Match of the Week! Kitties and Nine both are in contention for the Premier title. Both teams are healthy and both need a win to keep pace with the orcs of Cherorkee! My guess is a 1-1 tie with bad luck and bad decisions factoring equally into the equation. It’s gonna be a close one! As with any match Mully is involved in, dyslexic Kids should put your earmuffs on!

NWL Steel workers union vs. Nufflucked
Dwarf vs. Chaos Dwarf. Is there any game in which you want to see more huge amounts of blood? (before you answer that, there are no orc vs. orc matches this season, fyi). Nufflucked decided to hire Hthark and a wizard vs. Cherorkee last round specifically so they wouldn’t be carrying the extra gold into this match. While the Union was crying into their mugs of ale about their promotion to Premier, they apparently never stopped to realize that there are team management considerations when faced with a healthy low TR squad. Nufflucked will win this game 2-1 but it will be a close one, and NWL Steel Workers Union comes out of their shell and realizes they can truly play at this level.

Valar Quendi vs. Cherorkee Waaagh Kownshul
Valer Quendi is struggling. The money has been bad, and the casualties haven’t helped. This game will be no different. The Orks are prepared to go against an understrength elven squad, and will not look past the skilled elf squad that somehow manages to play teams closer than seems they should be able to do.

In the fourth round of the NWL Fringe division two undefeated teams face one another to see who would come out on top. The powerful and numerous necromantic Servitors met the few but agile Shellshock North elves.

The game started with the Servitors setting up an excellent defensive position as they kicked to Shellshock North. The elves attempted to break apart the "wall of flesh" that the Servitors had put up, but quickly had brutal results as the Servitors injured or KO'd four elves immediately. Even down 4 players, the elves didn't panic as they pushed for a quick score. The werewolf Taltos broke that effort up briefly and even grabbed the ball before being taken down by Dr. Victor Bengal. The elves quickly evaded the grasp of the rest of the Servitors and began to play "keep away" along the Servitors' goal line to kill time. After a short delay, the pressure became too intense and Mess Jewha the 2nd ran the ball in to put Shellshock North up by one. With a little less than a quarter to go before the half, the Servitors hurried to try and tie the game up against the outnumbered elves. Shellshock North solidly defended the sidelines, but the Servitors managed to create an opening. The agile Kallas, once again trying to move the ball though the air, failed again, leaving the ball short. The elves moved to cover the loose ball but Kallas was still able to slip in, grab the ball and hand it to Shrike to run in for the score.

The second half opened with the elves down two players, and the Servitors moved to form a cage to slowly march the ball downfield. Shellshock North's stodgy defense forced the Servitors' cage toward the sidelines even as they evened the odds, removing both wights. Having pinned the Servitors' golems on the sidelines while they protected the ghoul Shrike (the ball carrier), the elves attempted to prepare an assault on the cage. The Servitors had crushed the first cage busting assault when the zombies, underfoot for much of the elves' preparations, finally managed to create an opening for Taltos. Shrike handed the ball to Taltos who took off across the field. The elves, battered and demoralized, decided that discretion was the better part of valor and did not contest Taltos' score as time ran out.

A tough game for Jasfmpgh as his elves were understrength compared to my team. Even so, it was a very close, tactical, match where we each struggled to make progress down field. Especially noteworthy was the strong blitzer Dr.Victor Bengal. He was all over the pitch and a headache to deal with the entire time. He definitely deserved the MVP he received.

BLOOD IN THE WATER!!!!
The Veteran Division shows they are eager to advance to the Big Stage by finishing Round 4 several days before the deadline! So, fortunately you have yours truly available to give you the Round Recap!

This edition brought to you by: Image

Veteran Division Round 4 Recap
Faithful Rot1 vs Denton Stompers 2
The Faithful Rot, without their implacable leader, Bishop Pussbearer, falls to the shambling undead of the Denton Stompers. Stinksmash The Rotting records 4 of the 7 Casualties posted by the Stompers, as he sets his sites on the Veteran casualties award for season XVII. The Stompers prove they are a contender for the Vet title as they continue to go from Strength to Strength while those ahead of them continue to fall to casualties. Rot fans look forward to the Bishop’s Return next week vs. the conference leading greenskins of the Northern Spikes.

NEXT WEEK:Faithful Rot vs. Northern Spikes, Denton Stompers vs. Dinosaurs Ate My Baby!

Altmer_Dragons 0 vs Goliad Gauntlets 4
The Goliad Gauntlets put on another clinic recording 4 TD’s in this one-sided affair vs. the former front runner to win the Veteran division, the Altmer Dragons. The Gauntlets picked off 2 Dragon passes as the boys from Altmer tried to “take it to the air” more out of necessity than strategic planning. Gauntlets player, Private Seiber, played his last game as a human, but several Undead teams are taking a look at him after his TD and INT performance!

NEXT WEEK: Altmer Dragons vs. Looeyville Muggers, Goliad Gauntlets vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer’s

Northern Spikes 2 vs. Dinosaurs Ate My Baby! 1
The Northern Spikes continue to dominate the Vet Division Standings with another impressive win, this time over DAMB! The orcs methodically controlled the tempo of the match and kept the sleek Skinks in check while locking up the Saurus in the trenches. They also remain healthy, which they will need to overcome the Pox of Nurgle next week.

NEXT WEEK: Spikes vs. Rot, DAMB! Vs. Stompers

Looeyville Muggers 0 vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer's 2
Buccaneer’s have hit their stride and are playing tough, smashmouth bloodbowl (with the help of Zara) as they enter the 2nd half of the season. Punishing Defense holding the line (6 casualties in this game alone!), and fans that will tear apart opposing players that stray too close to the sideline (as Mugger’s Ghoul, Reinhold Lich found out first hand!) is really having an impact!

NEXT WEEK: Altmer Dragons vs. Looeyville Muggers, Goliad Gauntlets vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer’s

Round 5 Predictions

Altmer Dragons vs. Looeyville Muggers
The Altmer Dragons may find a way to win again, but survival has to be top on their “to do” list at this point, and their armor will offer little protection from the attention of the Muggers. Muggers win 2-1.

Faithful Rot vs. Northern Spikes
Anything but a Spikes win would be a HUGE upset, but as we’ve seen, the Rot like to hurt people, and spread Nurgle’s word to the non-believers. Spikes win 2-0.

Goliad Gauntlets vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer’s
Match of the week! These two human sides are both healthy and in the running still. A win here may be the tie-breaker at the end of the season for the Vet title. I predict a 2-2 tie, but Casualties will cripple one or the other.

Denton Stompers vs. Dinosaurs Ate My Baby!
I wouldn’t bet against the Denton Stompers, they are on a roll, but these two teams match up well both in the hitting and mobility. Ultimately, I think the Skinks of DAMB! Will be sidelined and the Stompers will take control of the pace to a 2-1 win. Another good game to spectate for sure!

In the fifth round of the NWL Fringe Division, the ever improving Klan'agh da'Baers met up against the undefeated Servitors. While the orcs dropped their first two games, they had tied their third and won their last one. Knowing that they faced a powerful team, da'Baers also hired Ripper Blogrot to give them even more of a strength advantage. The Servitors, on the other hand, were relying on the scoring potential of their team, averaging 2.75 TD's per game this season.

The orcs received the kickoff and ran straight into a perfect defense... but that didn't daunt them. With the power of Ripper, and the black orcs, they began to shove around the Servitors. Despite this the Servitors' Taltos struck first, surfing a black orc into the crowd where the orc was injured. As da'Baers slowly gained control of the line of scrimmage, ball handling issues became a problem. A dropped quick pass created an opening for Taltos and Icetouch. Icetouch almost killed McBride (saved by the apothecary) and there was a fierce fight over the ball. Taltos eventually came up with it and sprinted for the end zone, only to be caught and tripped up as he tried to get away. The orcs recovered, but tripped as well as they tried to get into position to make a pass to score. With time almost out, Taltos got up, shoved a defender out of the way and planted himself open, in the end zone. Kallas slipped away from the massive melee, snagged the ball and tossed it toward Taltos, only to see his passing skills fail him once more, ending the half scoreless.

The second half began with the Servitors now facing a perfect defense from da'Baers. Timing issues plagued the Servitors as well this half, as the ghouls tripped up over almost anything and the available opportunities became fewer and fewer. The orcs gleefully took full advantage of the situation, almost going berserk as they KO'd or injured 6 players in short order, including both wights. From that point it was just a matter of being careful for the orcs, as they had the numbers and strength to stop almost anything the Servitors could do, leading to an easy score by Briggs. With little time remaining, the Servitors lined up to make one last, desperate attempt to tie the game. However, with the first ghoul attempting a relatively easy dodge through the orcs' front line and tripping immediately the game ended quickly after that.

A well played game from coach Catalyst32! Additionally, this was the first time in quite a while that someone has fielded a star player against me. All too often my teams fall out of contention early or are considered "weak enough" to face unaided. Thank you for the compliment!

St Louis Hams 1 - 0 Orcs are Best

On the eve of their epic Century game... NWL veterans the St Louis Hams manage to eek out a win vs Fanglamer's squad Orcs are Best

It was a back and forth struggle of mediocrity with both teams being quite ineffective against each other.

In the end, the St Louis Hams just managed to be a little less pathetic and managed to nab a TD for a 1-0 victory.

Coach Prophane is happy with the teams long awaited re-birth... though he may be waiting a little longer...

It's another NWL Fringe matchup, this time featuring the 4-0-1 necromantic Servitors coming off their first loss of this season against the 0-1-4 high elves' Odessa Fastballs. Demoralized after their loss against the orcs, the Servitors are out for blood, while the elves definitely are out to prove they are to be feared.

The sixth round of the Fringe division started with the elves receiving, forming up into a cage immediately. The Servitors, despite being shoved around a bit initially, put up a solid wall of players to hinder the elves, with the werewolves emerging from the backfield to strike down players before retreating behind the wall. As the Fastballs' cage moved up, the Servitors were there to put pressure on it. After some intense fighting, Icetouch managed to knock the ball loose from Olharl Cometmask. Taltos move to cover the ball and Kallas picked it up and started down field. Hirgais Redhunter took off and took Kallas down in short order while Ucaguiani Lowcaster fouled the werewolf Gallion into unconsciousness. The Servitors quickly recovered as Icetouch assisted Taltos in taking Redhunter down, allowing Kallas to recover the ball and run in for the score. In the following kickoff the Fastballs enjoyed much greater success in taking down the initial line of zombies, while the Servitors tried to mount another solid defense. The Fastballs were definitely making an impact on the Servitors when Baylor managed to take the ball carrier Atatatadb Icebull down. Icebull recovered the ball quickly and he followed several of his teammates through an opening they had created in the Servitors line. Despite having a number of people getting off the turf, the Servitors managed to mostly surround and isolate Icebull. In a last push for freedom, Icebull charged Icetouch, but could not take him down. In the final seconds Rarirebs Buckmaster smashed his own ankle in a failed block against the zombie Yorgen.

The second half opened with great determination from both sides. Kallas received the touchback, the ghouls moved into scoring positions, and the Servitor front line battered the elves. The elves struck hard, successfully getting to and fouling and stunning Gallion. The Servitors decided to score quickly to save Gallion, rolling up the opposite sideline. Kallas shovel passed the ball to Saltoras who ran in the score. After the kickoff the elves tried to dominate the line of scrimmage again, only to be shut down by the zombie Vitor who blocked Icebull to the turf. The Servitors moved to cover the ball, lying near the line of scrimmage, letting Taltos pick it up. Niclerl Glittercaster took offense, taking down Taltos who was subsequently fouled (and injured) by Lowcaster, just after he recovered the ball. Gallion struck back, knocking the ball loose amidst the melee. Glittercaster eventually recovered it and lobbed it out of the melee to Eradacani Stonebreeze, who headed down field. Both wights moved to cover Stonebreeze as the rest of the Servitors tried (and failed) to keep the Fastballs from assisting a Stonebreeze escape attempt. Sonebreeze successfully escaped the wights, only to trip at the last second, just short of the end zone. Kallas recovered the loose ball in the end zone and brought it out a little ways. Redhunter tried to take Kallas down, but failed allowing Kallas to escape and toss the ball to the now open Gallion, who could not hang on to it. Soon after time ran out, leaving the Servitors with the victory.

Another great game! Crimsonwolf's elves were both tough and determined, coming very close to scoring twice, and always presenting a threat. Good luck in the final round! The Servitors now go forth to play for the Fringe Champoinship in a head to head game with Xyon's undefeated Ebisquious Graveyard. Should the Servitors win outright, the championship is theirs! Should it be a draw or the Graveyard win, the Servitors will just have to settle for second place.

The Gauntlets gave their all. Had a few lucky bounces and matchups but showed why they declined the chance to leapfrog the Vet division to advance to Premiere. Vet proved to be too much for last seasons Fringe Champs due to several injuries and rough breaks. However the Gauntlets were able to solidly place themselves in the middle of the pack with their 3-0-4 record to avoid demotion back to Fringe.

"The team needed this season after the highs of last year to realize where we really stand in the league. We entered Fringe last season as strong favorites after giving away a few sure wins the season before. I really think we should have advanced to Fringe a season ago but we had some rough breaks that held us back in Fringe," said coach Catalyst32. "We needed this season to get our minds right. With a few breaks we can contend for the Vet title and win it in the next 2 seasons if we can stay healthy. If we get too beat up we may find ourselves demoted back to Fringe."

ImageTomb Brokejaw reporting! Well Sportzfanz the time has really gotten away from me, perhaps it was that funny potion that Slann Mage said was just "jungle Jooz!" Anyway, the weekly recap will be condensed to encapsulate all the matches I've missed the past couple of weeks!

Let's head to the action!

Round 4/5 Premier Division

In the Premier Division, things have really gotten tight. First, Valar Quendi 1 vs. Cherorkee Waaagh Kownshul 1 and a 2-0 beating, with the help of a wizard and Ripper Bolgrot, was delivered to Ice Nine who brought along Hthark the Unstoppable, who's egg-laying was truly unstoppable, which set up the Orcs to have a chance at their first title.

After losing NWL Steel workers union 0 vs. Nufflucked 1The NWL Union continued to play tough and even managed a win vs. Valer Quendi to end their season and career in the NWL. The Union continues to lash out at Staff, the gods, and fate itself for it's perceived unwarranted condition in life. Rumor has it that a corporate life coach, and self help/team building seminar has been scheduled for all dues paying members of the Union.

Premiere Kitties 2 vs. Ice Nine 1 to set them up to play Nufflucked and control their own destiny. NWL Steel workers union 0 vs. Nufflucked 1Nufflucked played the Steel Workers Union. Their secret weapon? Earplugs! The Ref didn't spot them and so the Chaos Dwarves were able to ignore the nearly constant diatribe about how unfair Nuffle was in promoting the Union to Premier, how unfair the cruel fates were whenever a little shred of good fortune might tip the scales in the Dwarves favor.

Nufflucked, who lost to the Cherorkee Waaagh Kownshul earlier in the season is relegated to the role of spoiler for the elves chance at glory. The Round 5 matchup will end up being for all the marbles, the Premier Kitties will face the returning champs, Nufflucked, in what will determine the Season XVII Champions! A Chaos dwarf victory will solidify the championship for the Cherorkee Nashun, a draw may make the Orcs, and the high elves co-champions, as they tied in head-to-head competition. A high elf victory will see the Kitties once again crowned NWL Champs!

Valer Quendi faces certain relegation and will thankfully accept the demotion to rebuild and return stronger in the seasons ahead.

Elsewhere in the league, the Veteran Division has actually cooled off some with matchups that looked to be colossal contests turning out to be not as dramatic as once anticipated.

ROUND 5/6 Veteran Division

Faithful Rot 0 vs. Northern Spikes 2
The Orcish Horde finally ran up against some smashmouth Bloodbowl in the shape of the Faithful Rot. Bishop Pussbearer tops the list with 2 Casualties. The Orcs win handily, but injuries to 3 orcs may make next round's matchup with the struggling Altmer Dragons a game instead of a slaughter. In an emotional press conference Coach Xyon apologized to Jasfmpgh for explosive flatulence during the gameday breakfast buffet, so far no response from Jasfmpgh or the Northern Spikes.

Denton Stompers 0 vs. Dinosaurs Ate My Baby! 2
Dinos Ate my Baby! shock the Veteran Division with a surprise win vs. an incredibly strong side. Stompers fans claim team looked flat and hypothesize that perhaps the team considered the hiring of the Count as a slap in the face, and lack of confidence in their abilities to get the job done.

Goliad Gauntlets 1 vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer's 2
This game was absolutely riveting. Casualties, Star Players, Dirty Fouls! It had it all! The Bucs continue their journey to get to Premier, but post game the injuries that seemed minor may end up having longterm effects on team performance. Short term they will meet the face-pounding Mummies of the Denton Stompers without big man Sagrund "Dwarf-bane" Gauntlets lose Private Hanka permanently, and need to consider adjustments in the absence next round of Specialist Schroeder.

Round 6
Faithful Rot 1 vs. Looeyville Muggers 2
This battle for the basement had 2 fatalities, not much more can be said for it. These 2 bottom dwellers both face relegation to the Fringe Division, and both will have to make cuts to do so.

Denton Stompers 2 vs. Blood Sea Buccaneer's 1
The stompers continue to pound opponents, this time beating up the BSB. The Bucs fans are undaunted an know that the Premiership is within their grasp, THEY WILL NOT BE DENIED!!!! The stompers were led by Stinksmash the rottong who recorded 3 Casualties in the match and single handedly increased ticket sales for the Stomper ownership.

Altmer_Dragons 0 vs. Northern Spikes 1
Spikes continue their dominance, while their fans look forward to some better competition in the Premier. Its no longer a question of whether the will promote, its how much they can bulk out for next season! The Dragons, still looking like a shadow of their former form continue to rebuild.

Goliad Gauntlets 1 vs. Dinosaurs Ate My Baby! 2
GG and DAMB! enter the last round as middle of the pack teams. Both hit some bumps along the way, and both have struggled this season but are still in the running for Promotion to Premier. The Fans are hitting a fevered state as their teams realize their true potential in the big leagues! NOTE: Historical perspective will show us that this is not unprecendented.

ImageTomb Brokejaw reporting! The game that would decide the NWL Premier Champion was played. In an epic showdown, the Clash of the Titans, pitted Screech’s Chaos Dwarves, Nufflucked vs. Mully’s high elves, Premiere Kitties!

Both teams took the field and both were fairly conservative in attacking the other side. Late in the first half the Kitties knocked the ball away, but were not in a position to counter, and therefore ended the first half 0-0. Neither team had yet utilized the services of their mercenary Wizards, so the spectators knew that sparks would fly in the 2nd half.

Receiving the kickoff, the Kitties worked the line of Nufflucked and eventually scored midway through the 2nd half, of note was the flat-lining of Nipsey Russell, famed BullCentaur. He was revived by the timely intervention of Nufflucked’s Apothecary, but the chaos dwarf defense was a bit more timid afterwards. Nufflucked took the ensuing kickoff and fans from around the NWL wondered if they had enough gas in the tank left to equalize. The brazen blitz that knocked the ball loose also KO’d the hobgoblin carrying it, and the scramble was on. Elves are notoriously good at this sort of thing, and they once again came up with the pigskin. Lightning Bolts and Fireballs flew but in the end rookie Line Elf Raga "mwilli" Muffin held on to it and scampered into the endzone for the clincher! Premier Kitties Win the NWL Premier Championship!!! For the 2nd time! Huzzah!

Any Coaches interested in taking part in an NWL end of season Tournament?

Post in this thread if you are interested if there is enough interest I will run one, but at this point I am not going to limit TR etc so its basically gonna be like a Major, no limits of any kind bring what you have and show what you're made of.

This is an extra game outside the normal NWL structure if you want to play it as a rebuilder, etc. then sign up.

Thanks,

Da_Todfatha

Which division will The Gauntlets be in next year?
Depending on the answer I will pick my team for this tournament.

May go with another team instead.

I would enter Valar Quendi into a post-season tourney, just to get them past the mng's they have.
