New Orleans Vodou Bokors 1 Frighten and Loathe Albion 1 (FaLA win 3-1 on penalties)
A cracking game, and the Bokors again proved themselves a respectable team, losing only on penalties after overtime!
In the first half coach Jamerson plodded down field slowly, wisely using his Blitzers to try to remove as many Snotlings as possible from the field. In the end he required to dodge around a group of Snotlings to score, and Whusker Loons did not disappoint with a late touchdown. However, the Bokors still had a reasonable number of players remaining.
In the second half the Bokors were able to quickly get the football into Audowido's hands. The Snotling was then able to advance behind an Ogre screen for an equalizing touchdown. There was little time left after that, so again coach Jamerson opted to try and remove "excess" Bokors from the field.
In overtime the Bokors got possession with 10 vs. 10! However, coach Jamerson defended well and was able to remove most of the Bokors from the pitch. Time ran out and the game was decided by penalties- and since the Bokors had so few players left, they could not take all the allotted penalties and easily lost 3-1! |

And from coach Jamerson:
The score was more respectable than that - you only lost 2-1
A cracking game. EXACTLY what Bloodbowl should be about. The dice made it interesting without spoiling it. A talented Ogre team well led by their coach did extremely well in holding me up in the first half and I only just scored (Turn 8 with my Khemri blitzer having to dodge to score).
A tight second half and he did well to shield his ballcarrier and advance up the pitch. I just couldn't get to him. 1-1 (which was a fair reflection of the game)
However, overtime meant their HAD to be a winner and snotlings aren't built to last long. Nothing subtle or clever, I just bashed and fouled until my opponent was down to one player and so managed to win the game
Worth noting that my talented opponent only started with 3 ogres and I was lucky with my fouling (eventually removing all three of them) otherwise the game might have gone his way!
A great match |

Sooo I just noticed something.
And I thought I might as well go ahead and jinx myself big time.
FC Kaiserslaughtering is undefeated in 19 straight Premiership matches. |

I'd just like a draw against the Kaisers please. I don't need to beat them. |

I did win that, but no, only played Premiership matches have been counted. Went 1/1 in the Cup in between. |

Ragenham 'N Dedbridge take down Bath City Bladuds 2-1 in a shock result at Crematoria Road. 1120k of inducements were purchased but the difference was one cheeky scamp called Kevin Davies, who is now busy cleaning off the numerous rotter body parts off his well used boots. |

New Orleans Vodou Bokors 2 Undetico de Madrid 1 (pre-season friendly)
A cracking pre-season friendly...and the first ever win for the Bokors! In the second half the teams were reduced to 9 vs. 9, with the Bokors having managed to lose only 2 players- and from there the Ogres removed a couple more Zombies to give the Bokors a most unlikely numerical advantage!
Snotling Mademoiselle Brigitte was the clear MVP with a grand two touchdowns, especially the second, which involved numerous dodges and sprints without re-rolls. An outstanding performance and certainly a key player to watch this season!
Meanwhile, Undetico de Madrid's Wight Koke learned Mighty Blow- though after injuring three Snotlings in the game, he may not need it! |
