In Ranked, do we play with the 4min turn limit? Usually? Dependoing on both coaches or a fixed rule?

And if we use it, how do I do it in the BB client. Does a button appear after 4 min?

A timeout button appears after 4 minutes. Handle with care.

Ok. But it is commonly used?
Or is it a gentlemans agreement that nobody uses it?

In my experience it is infrequently used.

I generally just ask my opponents to play a little faster the first time they go over the limit and if it happens again I might time them out.

Depends on who you're facing.

My advice: don't go over 4 minutes per turn anyway, that way you don't have to risk your opponent's playstyle/mood, as timing out is perfectly within the rules.

I've found it really depends on the opponent you are facing. For the most part, if someone has disconnects from router issues, has a phone call, or other legitimate reason for slow play, people are pretty lenient.

If they are consistently going over the limit, I don't think anyone will blame you for using it though. Possibly frowned upon but completely within the bounds of the game.

It's often easier to time out friends than strangers. I can spot a slow friend over a disconnect anyday Razz I don't time them out to be evil, but for their own good. Someone constantly going over 4 minutes with no reason, ruins the flow of the game.

I tend to give the person one turn over the 4-minute limit. After that, I press the button as it pops up. That said, it's not necessarily set in stone.
