If you wanted 6 teams in each, you could give the Mordor side Norse ... as they did call upon the barbarians from the north. |

Thanks for the suggestion Duke, that would make things more balanced.
You said nothing about the idea though, darn you! |

Well, for one thing there is no equivalent of 'Dark Elves' in Middle Earth: plenty of individual elves who are evil or greedy or whatever, but not a whole race of them. Indeed, at the major battles in the history of Middle Earth, Tolkien often makes a point of saying that all kinds of creatures were represented on both sides - except elves who only fought against Morgoth/Sauron.
So, I'd get rid of DEs if you really want an LotR theme.
On the other hand, there are certainly lots and lots of evil humans who do follow Sauron … |

Cheers Pac, that's the lack of knowledge I mentioned. |

I'd probably get rid of the CD's too, i don't think any Dwarves fought for Sauron or Saruman. |

Not during LotR (or at least, not prominently), but at other times in the histories it is not uncommon for dwarves to be fighting on the evil side. |

So far... from what Pac and Duke have said, I'd be dropping DE and adding Norse and Human to Mordor.
This does mean Human would be on both, but at least it's in keeping. I'd like to know what people think of the idea more than anythig though.
Pac?
A group with little or no interest isn't going to get far. |

Dwarves never fought for the Evil side. Ever.
The problem is that the "good" side for Dwares is usually chosen from a strict Dwarven point of view. |

Ok... I've fleshed the idea out a little and created a group page, it needs tweaking and some images uploading.
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=4596
This now includes all 3 competitions and the benefits of Rings of Power~!
Still like to hear peoples thoughts... I know there are some bright bobbins out there that love to share their opinions. |
