Would you join a playtest league where the block skill is banned?
Yes, and it should be! It's ridiculously overpowered.

Ever thought that the block skill was too overpowered? That dwarves were broken? Join the No-Block League and learn what Blood Bowl is like without the block skill.

Da Rules
1. New [L]eague LRB teams only may apply to the group.
2. Dwarf and Norse teams are banned.
3. Players that start with Block may not be purchased.
4. Players may not take Block as a skill selection.
5. If a player MUST choose Block as a skill, then that player must be retired.
6. NO Star Players, except on halfling and goblin teams, which are allowed stars that DO NOT have the block skill.
7. NO wizards, except for the halfling chef.

You are insane!!! Sounds funny though. (Wouldn't that pretty much make Amazons/Ogres unstoppable?)

Certainly doable and sounds fun.

Has even worked in Ranked.

I think Amazons would be really strong in such a league.

Probably... until the teams start developing: zons with no ST access, all other teams with linemen who can't take block as their first skill... what skill will they choose instead? Smile
