Hi ppl!

I would like to know if you think it's possible to resize a bit the client window in order to let gnome users see also chatt and rr.
Actually the gnome bar covers it and it's very annoying.

Tanks in advance for you answers!

read the bug list. There is a problem with the Gnome Window manager. Both with sound and with seeing the chat rr area.

I know about the bugs, but gnome bar it's not properly a bug.
The problem can be solved simly adding some space on the bottom side of the window or lettin it to be resizable.
I'm only wondering if someone has in mind to solve this minor pproblem

These issues are more related to Gnome / Java then the client itself. Gnome3 is released in two weeks time. Lets hope the problems are resolved by the new release!

Sad to say that Gnome 3 have been tested together with the client and it did not solve the problem. There is an idea that this might be due to Gnome not using the standard properties for things that are used by all other OS:es but override some of the java things which cause this bar to appear.

And i rather solve this properly for gnome instead of doing a bad workaround by adding more pixels at the bottom of the client.
