I have my natural one turn gutter runner roll a 4,6 for his 5th skill. Now it won´t let him be MA 11, (turns out 10 is the max). He only plays offense so is only on the pitch for one play barring perfect D or a blitz. Block, jump up and sidestep would help for this. But only Diving catch would help him perform is natural role. Also sidestep might let him camp on the goal line if he has used his sure feet rr and i don´t have a spare rr. So what skill should i give him now?
10 2 3 7 Dodge, +MA, Sprint, Sure Feet, Catch -ag

Leap? If he sucks at dodging he'll need to leap over the defensive wall then dodge once to score a 1 TT to win the game on turn 16, won't he? |

Dauntless. Let him make the 1db for a push instead of needing a 5+ dodge somewhere along the play. Leap could work too, for a straight-up 4+.
He is also a candidate for replacement. -AG is a pretty harsh penalty for a one-turner, and they are fairly easy to come by for rats. |

Block will help him out if you go down on players but with another m10 and higher agility player on the team his place looks fragile. |

I have to agree. -AG is big on a Gutter. Also he is not special in any way. He is a ho hum OTS gutter so very easy to replace.
Coupled with the fact that you are considering taking diving catch to make up for is AG3 should tell you things are not all rosey. Basically infalted his TV even more not to improve him but to cover for a perm injury.
As a general rule if you need to pick a skill to cover for a perm then it is time to take up retirement on that player. |

It's in the rules under Characteristic Increases
Quote: | No characteristic may ever be increased by more than 2 points over its starting value or to a value greater than 10. |

Not only is a oneturner easy to come by, but you already have an MA10 AG5 on the team. Don't waste any more spps on this guy. |

I'd fire him due to the -ag, if you do keep him, how about strip ball to make a fast sweeper out of him... |
