Hi, you can probably guess from the title.

We had the scenario with the kick-off and the ball getting snatched over the line of scrimmage but now I stumbled over the question what happens if you were for instance to use the (poor) combo HMP & DC to chuck the ball in the end-zone.

If the scatter would end up behind the end-zone I'd expect it to be likely out of bounds and uncatchable. But in accordance with the Kick-Off scenario the DC would have a chance to catch it even out of bounds?

I'm not sure, I'd like to know what the rules say and how the client handles it?

No, DC wouldn't give you a chance to catch it. The ball has to land in a square adjacent to the player, and there are no squares outside the pitch boundaries.

I don't know how the client handles it, but I would guess it doesn't allow the catch.
