This league is built for people who love to play flowing, passing, running bloodbowl. Take a look at the group page at

http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=1203

We are similar to the Wimp league ( a great elves only league ) but any race can play.

Bashy teams are handicapped, to promote serious, tactical, and elegant play.

-1 foul per team per match (no need to worry about rampant fouling!!)
-team must start with 7 FF (teams should blossom quickly!!)

Run an elf/skaven/stunty team and hate when your guys die? This is the league for you. Run a Chaos team but prefer to surprise people with your passing game and stay away from needless violence, we can cater for you too.

Check the rules, I think we have catered for elegant bloodbowl very well.

You are right, silly me.

The group is public, and invites are sent.

Quick questions:

Will the leagues be set-up by continent/timezone to make it easier to play games?

Is it correct that the penalty for more fouls by a team is that each player that fouls - after the first team foul - must be retired after the game, correct?
So if Dirty Bob the lineman fouls and then his teammate Knot Me fouls, then Knot Me is retired after the game?

Hi, Ug.

With regards to fouling, yes, that is correct. The first foul for your team will incur no penalty (unless the ref sends you off, of course). Any further fouls will mean the player doing the foul must be retired. So your example is correct, Knot Me would be retired at the end. This means if you desperately need to foul a second time for a tactical reason, you can, but you pay a heavy price.

As for the timezones part . . . I can arrange that, but hadn't intended to. I'll look into how viable that is, but each game will have a week during which you can play the game, so hopefully games should get played without too much trouble.

My initial plan was to play with 24 teams, at 21 teams now after just 24 hours.

If we get alot more applications overnight, then maybe we will go with 32 teams.

Right now, the plan is to start on Monday, and the following Monday (each week) will be the deadline for each week's games.

We have our 24 teams, so the league will start tomorrow (Monday 10th May).

The deadline for each round is the following monday, I'll send everyone involved a PM with details, and the groups page will be updated once the divisions are set up.

To a team filled with ST2 players just about every team seems bashy!! Wink

I'm sure that if you had played against Norse it could have been worse!
