Hi
I have looked at the rules on site but can't find the answer so I thought I would check here.
I have a housemate who wishes to join Fumbbl on their own account. In this scenario, we would playing from the same location (so I presume same ISP address) but on separate computers.
What are the rules regarding this? I couldn't anything that specifically covers this on site.
Cheers |

Give the staff a nudge. It's OK if they know and you don't abuse it. |

He can join. Let the staff know the new users nick. Don't play each other in competitive divisions unless scheduled in comps. It's also best not to share a computer if you are house mates |

I've never even considered this. Me and my son have been playing from the same address for years. Never had any issues. Played each other heaps of times - mostly in league.
I do wonder about double accounts though. Often I'll see spectators who don't appear to have played a game for over a decade. It always makes me think one of the players is paranoid and needs to know what is being said about him. |

this could be suspicious, but doesn't have to be...there are indeed a few of the old guard that don't play any more, but do watch a game occasional, especial major games or games of old friends |

Thanks for the advice folks.
I shall of course not play him in anything competitive - we shall stick to the League division when playing each other, and he will play on a different computer from me.
Cheers! |

You still want to let us know his coach name so that we can note it. |

As long as it's in league, it's not a problem. If you bring it to R, you might get flagged for admin review. |
