Leap leads to wrestle, wrestle leads to strip ball, strip ball leads to tackle, tackle leads to VLL and eventual death by failed leap (probably even before getting wrestle)
dodge makes a fantastic ball carrier
what else? |

Leap leading to Very Long Legs would be the fun choice.
Dodge will make him live longer.
MA+ will give your team better chances to win games.
(a leaping goat would be pretty sweet... ) |

Voted +MA.
Dodge is better on a developmental carrier, helping you win now, but let's face it, you're Box Chaos, so winning at low TV isn't all that important.
Leap is tons of fun as a developmental thing, and as a sacker you can make something out of it... at Super Star. Plus, it's bloaty. Plus, it's Box Chaos, so you wanna be blitzing with hard-hitting types who only need normal skills.
+MA is better than Dodge in the long run as a carrier improvement. Like I said above, the long run is all that matters. |

I voted Dodge, because it has great synergy with AG4, giving the player rather good mobility. It also protects him.
This player is your obvious choice for Runner/Thrower on both O and D. One development path would be: Sure Hands, Block (the holy trinity with Dodge). Choice for 5th skill is wide, a possibility is Strong Arm (another is Big Hand).
Hope that helps. |

This is chaos. Strip ball not necessary.
AG4, leap, very long legs... now we have some fun.
Then you can take it in a few directions.
Guard? 2+ for an assist anywhere.
Wrestle/Tackle? No cage is secure.
Juggernaut? No sideline is secure.
Big hand? Can get the ball from almost anywhere. |

Tough decision, Ag4 Leap Very Long Legs is, combined with Horns, something very useful in almost any game. But it takes Wrestle to work, and until then it is a long road.
I voted for +MA but personally I always wished for +AG early on so that I can develop such a player.
Nevertheless it is more important to have one really good ball carrier and unless you already have a Extra Arms, Sure Hands beastman or a +AG Block Beastman, I would take the first +AG on any beastman in order to develop him to a ball carrier. |

I mean, I love my block, dodge, Side Step, +AG, Leap beastman, he's an absolute blast, and gives me a decent cage blitzer/ball carrier.
That said, I'd want +MA on him over any one of his doubles if I could get it. Chaos teams really benefit from increased movement range. |

Move 7 and Agility 4? Superb for teams who don't normally have either. |

A double (for Dodge) is less rare than a 10 (for +MA), so +MA is more valuable for that player, especially for a team with average speed.
Moreover, if you take +MA you increase the chances of having a MA 8 ball carrier (a potential one turner).
At high TV Dodge will be countered quite often, unlike +MA.
Another pro with MA 7 is no need to gfi to pick up the ball when it lands in squares adjacent to side lines at kick offs (assuming the player is deployed in the center of his half pitch). |

Yesterday it looked like dodge and +MA were head to head in the poll, but now the crowd has spoken.
I briefly considered dodge with possible follow-up of two heads as a "best of both worlds" kind of situation where I could dodge into a cage on a 4+ as a substitute for leaping to blitz the ball carrier, but at the end of the day, what's the point of a poll if you're not following the will of the people? (no reference to real world events)
so +MA it is. May he become the oneturner that MattDakka envisions. |
