Ungors
- I'm sure people have brought this up before. But come on, it makes so much more sense than chaos halflings.
0-1 Minotaur
0-2 Ungor berserker -M5 S2 A3 AV7 - stunty, horns, frenzy, tackle
0-16 Ungor -M5 S2 A3 AV7 - stunty, tackle
I think this would turn out to be a very fun and very interesting team. Instead of dodge they come with tackle making them stunty little bashers. Being an ungor means they're not fully developed and lack horns, but the constant shame and beatings they recieve for being less of a beastman has caused them to get very angry and will tackle an opponent with wild ferocity. The larger meaner ungor's have tiny nubs that could barely be considered horns and will chase down their pray with animal like fury.

I really wanted tackle to make a bashy stunty team. I wanted to see if adding tackle could allow them to play withought a big guy.
How about this Ungor team:
0-1 Minotaur
0-4 Ungor berserker -M5 S2 A3 AV7 - stunty, horns, dodge, frenzy
0-16 Ungor -M5 S2 A3 AV7 - stunty, horns |

Compared with minotaurs, daredevils or alligator warriors these little goatlings are like kittens. |

Way too weak.
Stunty is worth very little without dodge and horns can be used once per turn, not even nearly compensating for the loss of big guy.
Give 'em either dodge or tackle.
By the way, I saw some really cute beastling icons at this site. |

Everyone seemed to hate tackle. All I want is tackleing stuntys.
Maybe reducing their agility by one. I don't want them dodging i want them bashing. It'd be cute.
maybe

They don't have a point just because they're loud. Actually, none of them even entered any reason for their critique.

Well, dodge AND tackle is a totally different story. They'd be too hard to knock over. I still say: go with tackle. It's fun and original.
It still wouldn't make them super bashy since without dodge they fall over just as easily as anyone else.
goblin - 6,2,3,7,stunty,dodge
ungor - 5,2,3,7,stunty,tackle,horns
..is really the same as
goblin - 6,2,3,7,stunty
ungor - 5,2,3,7,stunty,horns
You'd just have to shift to more aggressive tactics in order to take advantage of the new conditions. But since that goes for both teams it really makes ungors as dangerous to themselves as they are to others. |

0-1 Minotaur S, Ph
0-2 Ungor purebreds -M5 S2 A3 AV7 - stunty, horns, frenzy, tackle A, Ph
0-16 Ungor -M5 S2 A3 AV7 - stunty, tackle A
I'm staying with this. Ungors don't have horns, just useless nubs. The purebreds do. They're still weak compared to a gor or even a bestigor. Yeah, they tackle and this will be a big boost, but they have no dodge. Not until a skill anyway. They have no weapons, and only one big guy. I think this sounds fair, and in flavor. Stunty needs a mean bashy stunty to rule over all the silly halflings, even the chaos halflings. |

It makes sense, just think about some big nasty ruthless player with a lil' ungor attached to his leg ô_o. Cute!
I'll go with tackle! |

Its always nice to see new teams unfortunatley if you challanged my halflings I would laugh in your face and run a mile as quickly as my chubby legs would allow. Its only dodge that saves poor av6 in the first place. Tackle would mean far more successful tackles and thus far more casualties and added to the no reroll for dodges mean it would never get off the ground as it stood. You could lose the mino and I still think they would be too strong.
If you want to play test them I'd give you a game and you can see how they do in a game environment but don't be too annoyed if i concede after turn 4 !!! |

I think dooby has a point, tackle in stunty dramatically increases cas counts, and id sometimes take it on a double before block, purely because of doubled number of cas you could potentially reap, leading to twice the spp later on.
Its a nice idea, but i can see what a fling player would mean about running a mile, with av6 and stunty, youd have no team left to face by 1/2 time |

Tackle on the whole team is just plain wrong. Maybe just on the elite gors. This is exactly why Amazons and Dwarves don't play very often. |
