Just an idea for a future version of Javabowl
The ability to add nicknames to a player.
So, when Jimmy Obrian turns out to be the lineman who hits people & puts them straight in the KO'd bin, you can add a nickname and call him Jimmy "The Crusher" Obrian.
Nothing complicated, just insert the nickname after the first name, or at the first space in the name or something.
Dunno how easy/hard this would be, I'm not a programmer.
I know my Orc Thrower needs to be renamed from Hurlit to Hurlit "if e' can geddit"
Just a thought.
Cheers

Well, sounds more like a website feature than like a client feature for me... |

Sounds like a rather cool feature, though |

I've been wishing FUMBBL had this feature for quite some time now. For example when my no-skills amazon liner killed a dwarf longbeard with a 1-dice block. |

sounds rather cool, you dont usually give nicks to brand new players but they tend to ern them one way or the other. |

Admins and Approval Monekys can rename players.
However, allowing players to rename players gets around the point of requiring teams to be screened for appropriateness. I know you coaches can name new players whatever they like, but that is quite different to some git giving offensive nicknames to every single player LOL. |
