Time to start another season of killing and mutiliation. Last season 19 Elves were crushed and I think this number can be vastly improved.
Also it's sad that our counterpart, the E.L.F. is much more sucessful with their agenda counting 26 participating coaches (who played scoring matches) so far in their running season, while we had only 7 in our last season.
We can't really encourage more coaches to play in our fine league, but we can certainly murder and maim the E.L.F.-teams. So I hereby declare this season:
The Great E.L.F. Hunt.
But before I explain the special rules for that, first the general rules again:
You may report any game played versus -ANY- elf team with your non-elf team. You simply need to report the game in this thread. The format for reporting is as follows:
Myteamname TdsFor (BH/SI/RIP) vs Theirteamname TdsFor (BH/SI/RIP)
MATCH REPORT LINK.
Out of all your played games only the best 5 are counted for scoring purposes. Kills made in your other games still count for boni like "most kills in the season" or "most prestigous kill".
Provide a description if you would like. 20 EMU points can be awarded weekly for "best fluff/match report". I encourage braggin, strutting, smack talk and such in this thread. However, please remember to be polite to your opponent while killing their team.
Now to the scoring:
Game Result:
30 points for a win
-20 points for a loss
0 points for a tie
20 bonus points if Opponent conceded
50 bonus points if Opponent retires his team after the game
Casualties:
10 points flat for every BH, MNG or apothed injury
Half their value for an unapothed niggle or stat drop
Full value for an unapothed kill (provide player url)
Double Value for a 76+ SPP Elf (provide player url)
Triple Value for a Legend (provide player url)
Smackdown: 50 points if you did 7 casualties or more
Casualties against:
-10 points flat for every casualty they inflict on you
Boni:
"Timber!": As a killed Treeman is a truly rare occurence, you get double his value instead of just his normal value.
"Diversity": Killed at least one player of all four Elf races (200 points)
"Most kills in the season": Granted to the coach who killed the most Elves at the end of season (200 points)
"Most prestigous kill": This bonus goes to the coach who killed the highest valued Elf (100 points)
"Great E.L.F. Hunt": The coach who earned the most points by permanent killing or causing permanent niggles/stat loss on E.L.F. teams earns himself a 200 points bonus at the end of the season (bh, mng or apothed cas doesn't count for this purpose). Retiring an E.L.F. team is also worth 200 points
This Season runs until the end of August.
Happy killing. |

Since the rest of the EMU has been behaving like pansies..... allow me to spice it up.
The Kittens have decided to show it how its done!
Puts me at 290 by my own methods of scorekeeping (1 point per spp killed!).

OK You EMU guys are pussies. I mean my Wood Elves do more damage to elves without fouling. Check out this 8 Cas game played not too long ago. I mean a real EMU would allow elves to participate in the carnage. I think the real reason why you have to have a non elf team to play is because the EMU is too afraid of the competition.

Not quite, Skull. The value is their cost, not their spp. Their SPP only enter the picture if it's over 76 or even a legend. So the value for the killed lineelf is 70 and the niggled catcher 45. So after all your match is worth 145. |

No kidding. Elves are elves' worst enemies:
