I am desperatly trying to rezise a picture but it just refuses to go down below the 10kb limit to become allowed to put onto fumbbl without me having to reduce it to the size of a pin... Does anyone know how to make it small enough to upload to the gallery but big enough to actually see?

I have a smaller picture which is cropped so you can't see the portrait to the right which is cut off but that one is too small to see Pia on. |

try to reduce the resolution. Usually this is set in dpi. The picture will be less sharp, but still viewable. Or reduce the number of colours. Usually you do not need 16.7 Mio colours. 65k is enough.

you guys need to get Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop or Photoshop Elements...
or search the web for a jpg-cruncher if you feel lucky... |

or get ACDsee or IrfanView. As far as I remember both tools have a picture editor in them. ACDsee is for the paying population only. |

i can't whore this website out any more than i already do....this place rocks so hardcore...
Net Mechanic
Input a local image, or an online image, and i'll spit out a bunch of optimized images and varying size counts...i use it religiously for whenever i need to resize images...and it's completely free
