So. Soon it will be time for the main draw. And tooting my own horn I pick Zug-Khazad Smeltering Inc to run, erm waddle, away with it all! If I meet some nasty elves with nasty wizards in the 1st round it might be game over, and then my pick is Borgen's Blood Red Dragons. However, as said before, the key to the tournament is 1st round pairings.
Team Captain Kili the Mute had nothing to say on the matter of the Ulthuan Invitational main draw, however Trollslayer Hirgrim Frothbeard was available for two short comments while practicing the fine art of decapitating elves in one blow.
After a series of grunts and flying spittle the bearded interpreter joyfully announced that Hirgrim looks forward to cracking spines and pushing players out of bounds (even his own) in the coming games.
To sum it up.
Bring on the unbearded folk! And let the fight be to the DEATH!

Well, as noone else appears interested in making picks prior to the draw (smart strategy though) I will continue to rant and ramble. My next topic is my least favoured opponent in the first round and that surely has to be both the Woodie teams capable of pure (non-push) oneturn touchdowns, i.e. Woodburns E.L.F and Transformers! I would like to avoid all the woodie teams in the 1st round as well as Fanatic's cash heavy skaven. The most favoured opponent is probably one of the Orc teams with as little cash and guard&MB as possible.

Da Dead 'Ard3 is clearly the prefered opponent for the first round. With my 2 tackle orcs i'd like to face some other orcs or the CDs but i got the Transformers! woodies so i picked against me for that match.  |

I know that woodies with more niggles than players suck, but without the niggles i am not so sure about that.
My orcs only did 19 kills in 55 games, so i don't think i'll kill a lot of those woodies...I will try to though. |
