To bad admin client is so convoluted and the help section sucks. I have had it for 3 years now and still have no clue how it is suppose to work.
It is dwarf fortress X10 on the learning curve scale and there are no You Tube videos to help you out.

My golden rules on the 3+ Roll.
#1 Never, ever, fear a 3+ roll with reroll.
#2 Never fear a 3+ roll with no reroll because in the end you are screwed no matter what and might as well roll the die so you have some one to blame but yourself.
Typical situation with a human lino. He is man locked, 1db scenario.
He can dodge out on a 3+
he can block on a 3+ (he has no block)
OR
He can stand there and get pounded into pixel atoms next turn and die.
No matter what you must make a 3+ roll.
The "manly" way to do this is is to BLOCK and not run away. They are both 3+ actions, go down fighting. |

first rule of BB club:
+3 rolls always fail, except when they don't. |

extended Games Workshop rule of BB club:
+3 rolls always succeed if you needed to save a space marine, never worked if you had to save a necron warrior / chaos space marine in 6th edition |

I tend to throw 1 die blocks more often than try to dodge. I usually only try to dodge when I need an assist or to blitz |

Correction: every 3+ doesn't fail. Just yours. |
