hello everyone
I'm trying to find evidence of a couple of bugs being fixed
Code: | first one is FIXED
https://fumbbl.com/p/bugs?id/776
we need a recent match (roughly this week) in which your chainsaw caused a casualty, and that cas is not counted among your total casualties for the team (as it should be) |
for the second one
https://fumbbl.com/p/bugs?id/812
we need nurgle matches in which you have recently raised a rotter, and possibly fielded or even hired it, so that there is a player profile to check and a game performance for that raised rotter to look at
many thanks! |

Java - mentioned I'd check this game
https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=4357342
Goblins are showing as 2 CAS but only 1 shown against a player so I thought the second one might have been a Saw Blitz.
Sadly it wasn't it was a B&C block |

Hey Java, I sacrificed a player to your Rotter cause. Lucks like the bug is still there:

(He's readied his team, so it's no longer visible, but I took a screenshot I'll post onto bugs) |

checked that, it was a B&C hit on a downed player
think it's all correct but it doesn't verify the saw
thanks, that... cuts it
for some reason I feared that it wasn't confined to your L team
was it the same (i.e. no PA) in game?
I'd like to see if it stays wrong if the player is hired afterwards |

Hi Java, I just spotted a different bug with how the new rules are applied - not sure if you want to tackle it here can log elsewhere otherwise...
In 1st Half Turn 5 of this game https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=4358231, the treeman Oakeart throws a block at a halfling, takes the both down result and they both fall - the halfling gets an AV roll of 6 but Mighty Blow is not applied, no armour break. Pretty sure that is wrong - Mighty Blow should apply on any block that the player throws in the new rules (i.e. would have been right if the halfling had made the block, but that was not so here)? |

The latest FAQ says Mighty Blow doesn't work if a player with that skill takes a Both Down (and they don't have Block).
So that above looks correct |

I posted the screenshot to the bug report.
I did purchase a Rotter a while ago and the PA did stay: https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=14605395
However, the recent [C] case was not purchased. |

Hmm that might explain it Coddlefish, but in another recent game one of my trolls did exactly the same thing, didn't have Block, and Mighty Blow WAS used when both players went down (Turn 7 of same goblin game linked above). So that is inconsistent, they can't both be correct... unless the client was updated very recently? |

There's been a number of updates over the last few weeks. I think that specific issue was sorted towards the end of December
Edit: if your Gobbo game was a few days ago and it didn't act correctly on the Troll, its probably worth going into the replay and posting the dice log |

@BigChiefSittingDuck
mighty blow applies, in bb20, only when the active player throws a block, and they are still standing when the opponent goes down
the update was earlier last week IIRC |

Ignore my guess at dates, Java is definitely more informed than me.
So it's possible that the Troll Both Down was prior to he update and the Treeman after the update |

Ah thanks both - that explains it then, Mighty Blow is now working according to the new rules! |

Nurgle:
Recruited this guy in this game. Previous recruits had experienced the issue described. Context: Knockout stages of league, we seemed to have some 2016 rules active (all 8 turns of OT played, no ‘golden goal’) but I’m sure I used 2 rerolls in one particular turn. |

Hi greateagle
Thanks for the report
A couple of questions
It seems from the match result that the "new rotter" has a different name from the ones of the murdered orcs. Did you get to rename it before hiring?
Also, the match log does not show you hiring that rotter. I assume you haven't hired it yet.
Just trying to explore all possibilities. Thanks again, very helpful, it's such a rare occurrence on a seldom used roster. Lucky to get it so soon. |
