This is an extremely powerful team setup, and with two rr the failure rate is lessened.

Then expand as follows

I find with 2 BOBs rather than four you still out muscle most of the newbie teams you'll face, and with 4 blitzers you have quite a few skill players. Throwers I undervalue with orcs, as I throw a pass of more than 1 square about once every 7-8 games, only use him to pick up the ball if i have too.

The decent ff lets you quickly build up your team as you'll get 30-60K per game. However, many would recommend taking 9 and replacing a blitzer with a lineman and three ff.

So far with this "start-strat" I'm 7-5-3 and have played a good mix of bashy and finesse teams and I'm not exactly a good bbowl coach.

Hmmm... might have only started ith one re-roll.. not sure 2 would have been affordable... too lazy to do the math... oh well Wink Thos are the players and ff i started with

My most succesful chaos team, sadly inapplicable using the current rules, consisted of 2 minataurs, no chaos warriors, and a bunch o' beastmen. And as many re-rolls as I could afford (since they are so expensive to buy later).

I wanted to play a purely "beast" team, and this was before there were rules in the compendium for the pure beastman team.

Bear in mind, though, this wasn't meant as "the best a team can get". It wsa partly to stick to a them, and partly to prove that I didn't need to fall back on a naturally strong and versatile team in order to win matches on the local level.

Only 2 teams in the local league did better: A dwarven team, (although they only beat me due to special play cards - one to prevent my touchdown, and one to score his own) and a bunch of Dark Elves. Both excellent players with naturally strong teams - how many of their victories can be attributed to their skill, and how manyto the natural ability of the teams, is unknown.

I'm keen to get a lizard man team happening but i'm not quite sure how i should layout the team at the start.. any suggestions?

4 Sauri, 7 skinks, 3 RR, 8 FF
Or 5 sauri, 6 skinks, 3RR, 6FF
Or 6 Sauri, 5 skinks, 2 RR, 9 FF and 10K left
all of these are strong teams designed to beat up your foes mainly depends on how many RR you want (personally i have only played the first one it did not go well due to very bad luck on armor rolls)
