If you play often vs Elves Arm Bar + Prehensile Tail can be useful, although not as useful as Block, Guard, Pro vs different and various races.
In the Box the most likely opponents are bash or hybrid teams, which, most commonly, will block/blitz the Rat Ogre away rather than risking a dodge from him (with or without Arm Bar). |

Fair enough, but spending the blitz to disengage is a win in my book. All the more so that knocking away a Block Rat-Ogre can be quite resource heavy, since you'll want to have the 2DB. |

Dauntless taken randomly on a fodder lino could be enough to get a 2d on a Rat Ogre. 10 TV is not a big investment of resources, considering how much the Rat Ogre is worth and his AV 9+.
With Wrestle even a 1d block could be enough.
Another possibility is keeping the Rat Ogre busy by using a Rookie fodder lino to babysit him while the rest of the team moves away.
If you use 50 TV to keep busy a TV 150 Rat Ogre you are already achieving a tactical advantage. |
