Tod, your coach will have to have a niggling injury for a busted knee! |

Anyone have any ideas for a league/group name?
I was thinking NCBB, rather than NCAA, possibly. |

A game a week sounds reasonable. |

Two thoughts:
The league name could be: CFBB, for College Frenzy Blood Bowl.
NCBB would be New College Blood Bowl. (could easily change the N to something much better.)
Other thought:
Should we have it where each player this season starts out as a freshman, then each season they live through they advance a year? Maybe they would have to leave the team after their 4th season (senior season). Could even hook-up with the NBFL, which could "draft" some of our players to fill slots on their teams. |

Oh man, having to retire players after 4th season... Makes a senior an interesting problem, as he would no doubt be a top player on the team, but using him detracts from the teams future.... Personally i like that idea. |

Serious injuries, and niggles would allow us to red shirt them and get a 5th year of elegibility out of them.
I like the 4 year rule, makes it like college, but it would be very expensive to replace a whole team and I dont know if we actually could do it in game.
Maybe it could be players with over 76, or 100 spp with over 50 games played or something like that. Not sure of the best way to implement it, but I like the idea. |

I will take Oregon to represent for the Pac-10 since the ACC is being represented by the Miami Hurricanes. I would have thought there would be more NCAA football fans about but maybe not. Or maybe they are just on vacation at the moment. |

Well four seasons is a lot of games. Say we have 12 teams, that means you'll play 11 games (under current format) plus a bowl game. Thats 48 games for a career. Obviously some players won't last 3 games, others can last dozens.
Maybe we should say they get a free redshirted year, so each player can last 5 seasons before moving on. This means 60 games.
Of course that's assuming we have 12 teams. We could have a few less, or a lot more depending on interest. |

Ooooo! This sounds like a fantastic idea!
I'm extremely interested in playing. What division are you looking to fill? I don't have a particular college team that I root for, so I'd be willing to play most anything, if you have room left!
