There's a few wierdnesses due to the way games are displayed on the games page. The script will only show 2 games if there were 2 games showing on the games page last time it was checked.
- when starting a game the page sometimes displays 2 versions of the same match.. I'm not sure if this is due to rehosting or what.
- games stick around after they have completed for a while (longer than the 1 minute cache from what i can tell). some say 100%, some say 'full time' some say 'overtime'.

I planned to tackle these problem (ignore games that have finished and duplicates), but I don't fully understand how to be sure a match has actually finished so I figured it best just to reflect the data directly until things are clear.

- Does '100%' mean the game is in the last turn waiting for results and 'Full time' mean the results have uploaded.. or might the game still continue into overtime?
- Can I safely assume that games that don't have a league header will not go to overtime?

I'm not sure what you mean. Match details added to coach and team pages should have a spectate link bottom right (as on games page).

Script updated to v1.2:

Changes:
- Sorts buddy list by last login as suggested by Machlie
- Non tournament games at 100% progress or 'Full Time' are ignored
- Fixed a bug that added (IG) links in some wrong places
- More configuration options

Ignoring games at 100% progress means that games in their last turn are ignored. Since games tend to stick around on the games page long after they have completed and joining a game that is about to end, or might have ended already is not ideal, I figured this was an acceptable compromise. You can turn this behaviour off in script configuration by setting: ignore_matches_about_to_end=false.
