Heres my first proper attempt at getting a dwarf team up and running, so any advice where to go here would be appreciated.
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=586856
I am trying to skill up my longbeards as soon as I can. Is it best to give most of them Guard for their first skill or mix it up? If I do mix it up, what sort of skills should I be giving them?
I assume getting MB for the troll slayers is next priority? Any suggestions otherwise welcome.
For my next purchase should I go for another blitzer? A RR or a back up Runner?
I know I need to ditch my niggler at some point but at Academy level do I need to do it asap or use him in the LOS to soak up some hits?
Cheers |

sack the niggler now!
Take guard as first skill on all long beards (maybe one should get DP or maybe that should be the back up runner)
Buy the second blitzer before the runner. but you might want to go with a 4th rr to keep TR low as well. Hard choise, but you got a lot of players already. |

It's not like you can take them very far anyway, unless you're thinking of taking them to league... otherwise it's TR 150 max, which you've almost reached.
Go Ranked!! |

Jamerson,
Contrary to most here I think dwarves can be good fun to coach. They have very clear advantages and disadvantages as you will find out...
My take on dwarves is getting the longbeards guard first. After that Mighty Blow. If your team has lots of guard already you might consider getting a few rookie longbeards MB before guard. Troll slayers should get MB first skill barring special rolls.
Since you already have enough players (13) for your teamrating I would go with an additional RR than the blitzer and lastly the Runner.
And of course if you feel you can;t grow anymore in A you are welcome in either the ranked division or the blackbox!
Good luck with your shorties! |

You want to get help with dorfs?
So here it is:
Go, join the DMU - be the first dorfen team eva in the DMU - and commit collective suicide. |
