Was thinking of the old day of BB and i can sort of remember there being a Bretonnia Team
they consisted of, if memory serves right, positionls of different leveols of knights and peasents ....
the knights being unable to foul and the peasents were just ... well basically cannon fodder really
does anybody know what the rules / stats of the bretonia team were?
If there was a team be good to see em on Fumbbl i reckon |

We still have one...they are called Humans.
I don't think there was ever an official Britonnia Team...Unless they were in 3rd edition, which I know nothing about.
I know there was an unofficial Britonnian roster circulating for awhile but that was just something somebody made up and had nothing to do with Games Workshop. |

ah ... i know the BrightCrusaders and their no foul play ethos got labelled as one of the first Bretonnia Teams ...
I even vaguely remember models, coudlnt tell you who manufacured them though.
still a Bretonnia Team would be interesting i reckon |

I agree with Khornelius, I think that team was unofficial, but one roster can be found at this great site (with many good stuff like Playbooks etc).

Maybe there was an official roster back... in the old days, like "Heroes of Law" and
"Evil Gits", that weren't replicated in the next editions. |

Nope, Bretonnian roster was official. For 4th & Gold Editions I think, maybe even a little longer. Wasn't a great time in rule history though.
The roster was:
Peasants with av7
Squire catchers/Squire throwers
Realm Knights (blitzers with ma6 and old Stand Firm)
Questing Knights (Blitzers with ST4, leader stand firm and av9)
I play a roster with
av7 peasants
ma7 squires with sure hands
4 knights (blitzers)
and 2 questing knights ST 4 stand firm ma5 and I like it.
I'm not very keen on the roster above, for reasons I've stated before. |

Oh and if you use a standalone client, bug cowhead for his awesome Bretonnian icons, they really are nice. |

as with humans u have norse, vampires and their thralls (dodgy ground here lol) ... another specialist human team would be great ... |

Plus Chaos Pact & Zons. The general consensus from the powers that be is that the games needs another human team like it needs a tooth ache.
Not that I agree, personally I think there should be 100 of rosters.
However the problem with making new human teams is justifying the skillset. |

If it were up to me, I'd have rosters on 2 levels to simplify things.
Firstly you would have races (more than we have now) and then below that you would have famous teams from the races.
For example race: High Elf
Basic Team (as they are now)
Famous teams:
Eagles (no blitzers, 6 or 8 catchers) (specialist star list)
Gladiators (no throwers, no P access even on doubles 4 catchers) (specialist star list)
For example. So lots of rosters with small changes. So a sub tier of rosters. |

They are in the first edition.
With peasants, knights and some specials rules( Knights are always first to move and you need to make a sort of animosity roll for passing) and a famous team : Albion Wanderers. |
