Yea b2k I've tried a lot of things with the Ogre, I'm thinking of increasing the tan for him to make his skin pop a bit more |

Oh! Yeah me likes. You've got some good muscle definition going there! What did you do? change the colour pixel by pixel or change the contrast on the skin areas? |

pixel by pixel in MSpaint... lol
I resisted the urge to make him Dark Skinned, as I thought it'd make him into a blob |

Try using the gimp. You can select areas and change the hue/saturation alltogether. Then you can still fine-tune pixel by pixel if you wish so. |

I might have a look at that ogre later, if I have time.
I use Gimp and I wouldn't recommend it. There's the other free one Paint.Net. It's far easier to use and you don't need any of the advanced features for icons. |

Ok I spent a bit of time on your ogre. There were a lot of weird colouring. Did you use contrast or something on the whole icon? It's not had a good effect on the yellow arm braces. Some of the detail looks to have been lost. Apart from changing the outline colour though I haven't touched them. I've done some subtle shading on him, you may see it if you look closely.

I wish the regular sized humans had the detail in the face cages you can get on the ogres! |

What about if you had a team helmet? I don't know stuck some wings on the side or something. Taken from a Dwarf Blitzer or the Prince. |

Yea, team helmet is an interesting idea.
Dunno about the wings, never been a fan of them at all |

Cool! They're really nice. Great stuff. I use Gimp and it can be funny (for instance you need to change mode if working with GIFs) so if you get stuck send me a pm.
I think the 2 bits that stand out for me are.
Got pretty dark with the outline. For example front right lineman's purple half tunic should be much darker.
Also shading and highlighting. For example the yellow shoulder pad on the far right elf mask guy. |

Ok opened up and I had a look at 2 of the icons. Stronger shading and you need to have a set outline colour for all your icons. That's to say the outline for the yellow and purple should be the same on all of them, no matter what shading or highlighting. Checking on them, there are lots of different colours used, and it makes your icons look less uniform.
I did a bit of work on the right side of these icons and the helmet of the bottom one.
