These two, particularly number 2. Many (me included) have pointed out in the past that the main problem with CPOMB is not its efficiency (which is certainly high) but rather how easy it is to get the combo. This way, PO becomes viable only for players that are hard to skill up, unreliable and/or players better suited to be guarders or roadblocks, with the exception of the chaos warrior.
By using these house rules CPOMB would still be useful at high TV, but we would avoid for the most part aberrations like min-maxing CD and Pact teams built around CPOMB.
And it also makes a damn lot of sense from a fluff perspective, finally more strength means more damage output. |
