I have no sense of the colors in the black box scheduler. They could be greenish, redish, yellowish or whatever color. The problem is, I'm not totally sure what I click.

Also, I cant, really tell if they are pressed or unpressed. The graphical representation is too subtle/unclear. This can be the case because I'm colorblind, not sure.

I post my problem here before bothering Christer with it, to hear you what you think about it. If you aren't color-blind, you might find it hard to understand the issue, but feel free to comment anyway.

Thanks.

I could be totally wrong, but I thought windows had some ease of accessibility options for color blind (high contrast or something)...

Those red and green shades are very similar in everything but hue, I can see how it gets frustrating.

You can go "High Contrast" mode by pressing "Alt" + "(left) Shift" + "Print Screen"

EDIT

This is for windows 7 not sure about 8

I can confirm that Christer does consider these issues, and has spent a fair bit of time studying colours, colour spaces and such (I haven't, so I'm a bit vague on the technical terminology myself). I'm sure if he knew this was still a problem, he'd be glad to get your feedback on any fix/adjustment he feels might be helpful. And feasible.

I tried the scheduler just a while ago. The selected teams are actually slightly lighter, at least to me. This is to me a bit odd. If pressed, they should, in a sense be below, it should actually be shaded, ie. darker. Now, the opposite is true. Can you confirm this?

Edited: was being unclear.

Do you mean the blackbox activation panel? They change from red when not selected to green when they are. A shadow also appears around the box when they are selected.

Maybe two columns.

When a team is activated they move into the "Activated" column.

Would that be tricky? I am no techie.

I mean the base color of the button which I perceive as pressed is, to me, overall slightly darker when not pressed/selected. I'm wondering, if it is, at all, a button. It may actually help to think of it as a flat touch activation panel instead. But I think, that when it turns slightly darker, it appears to be pressed. The only thing is, it's not Smile

This ring shadow round the panel to me is not indicating strongly enough that it's selected. This may be part of my color blindedness, dunno.

I can conclude though, that when slightly lighter, it's selected/pressed. And vise versa. But it still bugs me =/

NB: has been edited a couple of times for clearification.

Just pushed an improvement to improve visibility of the activation state for colour blind people (and people in general). Should be much clearer now but if you're still having trouble, don't hesitate to get back to me.

Note that you'll need to reload the blackbox page to get the update.
