Thanks for the Link Roland. I'm aware of the secret league teams. I meant actively participating teams in a league, whatever race they are; will moderators be able to add edited players to these teams?
I think Garion understands what i meant. |

no way of knowing, only christer knows how much time and effort he is putting in to these changes. I wouldn't like to guess to be honest.
If it was me personally and I were good enough to code like he can. I would probably drip changes out a bit at a time. first allow manual rosters to be created so the sort of tournaments in the secret league and the NAF fumbbl cross over could be acheieved, and then later on the ability for league admin to full customise everything in a league, from every stat, pitch that is played on, icon, player pic and so on.
I don't really understand just how much work this entails other than any of these changes are a huge amount of work for man to undertake so we should just be thankful for anything we get really |

I dont like the Idea it support cheating (playing with more than one Account, or playing with Friends a lot of Games with the same race to give them to an Mayor al good Players to One of these Teams). And Support the Teams with Regeneration, where the players can be pretty old and so u can save a LOT of Treasure. To buy than for an Mayor an Unbelievable great Team together.
And no more Low Armor Teams been seen on an Mayorfinalround, cause every Team have the right Playeranswer vs these Teams, and not only 1Player more the Half and more of the Team. |

I think in those circumstances a value automatically calculated according to the player's race/stats/experience etc. would need to be used, rather than just negotiating with another coach. Otherwise yet it would definitely invite cheating. |

I have no interest in Cyanide's idea. I only find it interesting if you can add any positional/lino from any roster.
I am assuming/hoping that once we get custom rosters we will be able to create a huge super roster from which a league could perform a draft.
Trades/Market place would be interesting there.
As a commish I would like to be able to easily filter out join requests from non standard teams.
I would prefer an option where trades/purchases had to be sanctioned (or performed if that is easiest to code) by a league commissioner.
The scope for cheating seems huge.
e.g. Only group staff can edit a team. You cannot edit your own team. Nowhere near fool proof but would help. |

Something like that would create massive scope for commissioners who want to run RP focussed leagues.
Of course you are right, player self-editing their teams would be absurd. |

Of course people will create two coach leagues and edit each other's teams to order. The two coaches may even be the same person.
In the end it comes down to whether people accept games or league applications from those teams.
Edit: Most leagues seem to only accept brand new teams so it may not be a big deal. |

KPL already does this, but i guess it's a lot of core admin work.

That's interesting, I didnt know KPL did that.
Well if its possilbe to give random players on a team Chainsaw i suppose it must already be possible for league admins to edit active teams? |
