Is it possible to have a drop down list on the create team page for Fan Factor with 1-9 and the same for Team Rerolls with 0-8?
This would save upload and download time immensely as quite a few teams have high FF and instead up to 9 up and downloads for FF and 3-5 for TRR, it would just be two up/downloads.
Hope this is a helpful idea for the developers.
Kind Regards,

Here's a trick. If you click on the link to add FF, watch your status bar (on the bottom of your browser). It'll say something like, "Contacting http://fumbbl.com..." then, "Requesting data from fumbbl.com/..."
At this point, it's just getting the data to refresh the page. Your FF has already been added to the database, so just click on it again without waiting for the page to reload. It'll will do the same thing. Repeat as necessary. Just wait a few seconds before clicking on the link each time.
It's not 100% accurate (sometimes you'll only end up with 7 or 8 when you click 9 times, depending upon your timing), but it sure is faster. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for firing coaches/players, since you get the "Are you sure?" screen, but how often is that an issue? |

At times it is more like several minutes then seconds . For adding one ff/re-roll that is.

I am suggesting something that may save on traffic on the site which helps people uploading results and all sorts of other activities.
Sheesh, some people these days are so critical they certainly have something they need to get over. |

Or maybe you could just wait, its not going to change your life a few extra seconds on w website, maybe you should just accept its not ever going to be instant, when you have to wait more than a minute or two then maybe it be something to complain about, but to be honest it hardly matters, i dont see how a few minutes waiting could matter |

If you've ever coded for efficiency, spike, you'd realize that anything done manually that could be handled by code is inefficient. Christer has done things in the past to make things more streamlined, and this is just another suggestion to do the same. Every little bit helps, unlike posts on this board that do nothing but flame.

My work around is opening the link in a new page a few times. It works because the link does not change from each page. As sugested by BadMrMojo but mine is a bit quicker still. |
