Hmm, let me know what I got wrong above and I will correct. I did try to quote your first two lines. Where I said my catcher was meant to be my idea, not GW. Seriously what's the point of a catcher which appears to be a new halfling with 2x skills.
I am curious what "statline" is?
I don't know, I would have thought that Fling coaches would jump on anything with AV7 in their team. |

Well, in my opinion the point is improving slightly the 1TTD attempt (Catch to re-roll the hand off catch and Sprint for more range).
Since you can nominate the MVP on a Catcher you can hope to roll +MA/+AG and build a 1TTD specialist/ball carrier because he starts with 2 useful skills for that role (Catch can be used on High Kick event).
That said, I would have designed him with either MA 6 and AG 3 (and Catch) or MA 5 and AG 4 (removing Catch if needed to keep him cheap).
MA and AG are the key, skills like Catch, Sure Feet and Sprint can be taken later because are regular, while +MA/+AG require some lucky skill up rolls. |

The problem with the +Ag is that he becomes better at everything, and other options other than the 1TTD also become bette, and you would just do those instead. |

nope, the new spike isnt out yet, if I was to guess I would imagine in the next 2 to 3 weeks. But thats a total guess. The pre order emails go out on saturday or sunday, so once we get sent them then it should be a week away. |
