Hi!
Added a small monthly donation via Patreon. They charge VAT. I am quite certain that a donation in Sweden would not need VAT. Anyone knows about this?
And just to make sure, there is no way to transfer money directly from/to bank account instead?

Unfortunately, the VAT thing is out of my control and something Patreon forces onto people.
See https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/205259549-VAT-Value-Added-Tax-on-Patreon for details.
In theory, you could get in touch with me directly and get the details you need for direct account transfers, but it's really more work than it's worth for the most part, especially if you want to do a recurring donation like what Patreon offers.
Yes, it's en extra cost to use Patreon, but the reduction in hassle is worth it, even if that means that you reduce your patreon level to offset the VAT cost. |

Well actually it would be very simple to make a recurring payment in your bank. The same way you can automate your house loan or car loan, for example. (In Finland it would be easy and mo vat I think) |
