Damn, my team in faction has played 3 games and in all 3 games my FF went down. My FF started at 8 and is now at 5.
This sucks, anyone else have this (or worse) happen to them. Just looking for someone else to laugh at

Well you did lose 2 of those 3 games.
Last 2 games my skaven have won and FF dropped both times... last game for my darkies a 3-3 draw and 1 on FF yet again.
Fan factor rolls are just too prone to luck, not winning. |

all my active ranked teams added together, i got 41 wins, 14 draws and 12 losses. But the ff only went up 26 times and decreased 18 times.
actually, it should be more easy to get a gain than a loss until ff reaches 10, because every win has a good chance for a raise (normal win is something about 2-1, so it's already a +2 modifier, 2 cas isn't that seldom, so you should have a +3 modifier quite often). Even a draw has a good chance, a 2-2 isn't that seldom and again, scoring 2 cas is possible so a +1 or +2 mod is a normal result for a draw.
But going even further, with a loss, a ff decrease should not be that often, under some circumstances, you can still reach a +1 modifer or at least a +0.
To do some math:
In normal games, you got 66% for an Increase with a win with 16% for a loss. A Draw still has 33% for a gain, 16% for a loss and a lost game has even chances with 16% both for a gain or loss in ff.
Watching my stats above, it should have been something like:
34 increases, 11 decreases
but well, that are only statistics
playing some hundred games more and it should all even out --- |

have a 19/4/8 record. It was originally a faction team. they make lots of TD:s and also a lot of cas. Despite all this I was down to 2FF at one point!!!!! I imagine an average luck FF for the team would be 15-20. |

started with 9, ended with 9

How about making it so that there are no automatic passes or failures on the ff roll? Meaning if you roll a 1, if you have any positive modifier, it doesn't go down, while if you roll a 6 and have a negative modifier, it doesn't go up? |

then for team thats always loses they have no chance of gaining FF until they win a game or do lots of 2+cas and/or TDs. My lizardmen on the board version has won maybe 2 out of their first 8 games and their fan factor is the only thing really keeping them going for the first part of their career. True after the 8 games they had FF of 9 and a few skillsso now they are doing better.... hmmm sounds just like my fumbbl lizardmen, oh well. |
