Anyone reading the news should have seen this http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&team_id=79972 . A Kroxigor who have scored 24TDs in roughly 80 games. That's one every fourth game! I'm just curious about how other people think of it. The Kroxigor would have excellent ballkeeping capabilities but it just doesn't seem worth it...

There are only 2 possible excuses for trying to give the ball to a player with ag <3:

1. You're up 2+ TDs and those BOBs just aren't progressing fast enough
2. That BOB is the only one who can possibly score and you have to score right now!

3. You are playing Khemri without a +AG player.
4. All your ag>2 players are out.
5. You want to make a ag<3 player famous.
6. You are totally crazy and like unacceptable tactics

Well he could make Marcos the Str5 Ag2 Saurus the real ball handler with sure hands at 76.

Marcos is a much younger player and it looks like that this is what he is doing now.

I've found that giving the ball to my ST6 BoB... who strangely has so very few people looking to leave him in zones.. is a fantastic tactic.
4+ to catch the ball, rerolls aren't ridiculously expensive so it's worth burning one there.. and after that.. they just trundle along.

Only got one Orc team in Fumbbl, and as of our last game every BoB has a TD.. in fact.. all of them have at least 2.
The ST6 one is the top scorer for the team with a massive 9 TDs.

Why? Because it was the EASIEST way to get them skills.. they sit at the front of any solid cage, they provide constant pushing forwards against most opponents and are continually denied by these prancing AG3 blitzers and line orcs.. well enough of that.
They do the hard yards, and in the end people say that "they're too hard to skill up" ... so burn the reroll, make the pushes and score them a TD or 2.. they'll get that all important first skill, and who knows, you may like it and keep scoring with them!

(I'm particularly proud of the BoB with a completion which he had to dodge, pick up the ball and throw a pass for to hit 16 points)

Main point being, most players with AG2 or less have some form of bashiness going for them, and we rely on the bashiness to get them points, meanwhile every one else is scoring 3 pointers when they can and getting ahead of the game. So partake of the elven school of philosophy and share the SPP love around..

AG 2 players with surehands aren't that bad as ball carriers.

7. There's no safer place where the ball can be then in the kroxis's hands.

Even without surehands it's not that hard to get the ball to an agility 2 player with a team reroll. It's a 75% chance of getting it with reroll which isn't bad at all. As long as your smart about it and make sure that if the player drops the ball it will still be in at least 2 tackle zones it's a very valid strategy. Thats how cds score most of there touchdowns and they are one of the best teams in the game. Scoring with bobs is also a very valid strategy. Don't think that doing it with a big boy is all that smart as they can't use team rerolls and their neg trait can cost you a td but with agility 2 normal players it works just fine.

Practically, he gets the ball in two attempts. Pro helps alot! But if there are a few players sneaking around the ball, one security skink gets it and runs out of sight - well at least out of reach. But once the big guy has the ball... Just step in front of him!
