One week withouth a post for the new round or any game played...I'm afraid this league is death.... apperently it's hard to find a group of fine players who really want to play in a league structure.
if this remains this way, I will create a new league where old Wastelands teams can join. I still have faith there are coaches who are like that. |

yeah that's the hard part it seems finding coaches that really want to play in a long term structure league...which is sad. I like season play and if anyone starts another season structured league you can count me in...only wishing my Mad Dawgs had more season games under thier belt... |

Sorry I take full responsibility for the sluggishness right now. I have been completely bogged down both at home, and at work (12 hour work days, to come home to more stuff). I occassionally get a game in, and can't find Scipio anywhere.
I was hoping Tamper could get on a bit to share some of the load, but it looks like that won't be the case. I promise to have week 3 out by friday.
I am looking at replacing both Michael_Warblade, and Scipio, if I don't hear from them soon. I know Scipio said he would conitinue, but he hasn't responded to PM's, and I can't seem to catch him on #fumbbl (sometimes missing him by, as little as, 30 min.)
I don't think anyone is hurting for Tourney team slots, so I would hope that active coaches aren't giving up thier teams.

I would also like to add, that I do have a 3-day weekend upcoming, so I should get some more weeks out.

Because if you play the team once a month... well... you don´t know them.

I must apologise to everyone for my absence, had problems with the pc, then problems moving house, then problems getting a new net connection and to top it off my PC at work doesn't access the net at all anymore!!
Anyway, I'm back to some extent now, and I'll endeavour to try and catch up the games i've missed. Seems poor old Asperon is having the same problemI had when I started the league first up, people not turning up (ahem), dropping out and then getting bogged down with silly stuff at home (like work, girlfriends, exams, you know, non-important stuff).
Maybe we shoud have a sub-commish for each division/conference, spread the workload around. |
