Hey Tom!
Once I got to grips with the tool (!) it was a really enjoyable game of BB! Some of the new skills (Wrestle) were used and I had to rethink some of my strategies. It felt a bit wierd having FF1 and an extra CW but this turned out OK as the FF has a lower impact on the game, it helped my chaos out of the blocks which is definitely a good thing, and thinking about it more, it will help when your playing catchup in an experienced league.
The lesser reliance to purchase big FF is going to be good in one off games as it has a lower impact, im often tempted to load up on FF purely based on the fact i always lose the kickoff results! but having cash to spend on players than FF is good IMHO
I havent had the chance to test out the mutations yet but Im hoping to diversify my beastmen to create a unique team, with makeshift (well better than that!) recievers and passers with some defensive specialists!
One thing I am slightly worried about is some of the cards! Some have the potential to be too good! My Nurgle are currently playing Aconite's Skaven but I was making my way to the end zone and was getting close to the corner, but then he pulled out the trampoline card (from the 50k Dirty Tricks Deck)! now had it gone the way he wanted, my pestigor would be in the crowd, ball would be chucked back in with some Skaven Runners ready to pounce! Up to that point I would comfortable score (luckily for me my pestigor had a safe landing!) but in hindsight, it would be a perfect card to play against a staller, but its a card that can really hurt the running teams (high ag teams not so much), i feel its almost a turnover machine, no cage is really safe with it, and if he manages to pass the landing roll, then he is now isolated and can be picked off easily in the next turn. For a 50k card its a bit too strong, but nonetheless its a fun card! Sorry for my incoherent feedback Tom, Ill tell you more about it when I get more games under my belt!
But Im finding Vault to be a really enjoyable experience, and am happy in the way its going!
Ive started another 2 games so one is going well and one isnt!
But Im hoping to try out the New Ogre team for my 4th team (but there are so many "new" teams to try! and not enough slots  I wouldnt mind trying out the Slann in the PBBL) |

OK, a quick update...
Im on my fourth game currently. Results are as follows:
Won with Chaos vs Bretonians
Won with Nurgle vs Aconite's Skaven
Currently losing 1-0 with my Dwarves vs xcver's Humans
Currently winning 2-0 with my DE (rugby) vs Fama's CD's
Liking the ruleset so far, love the DE roster! |

ok!
Took a bit of a break from the MBBL for a fortnight after 2 horrible results, im currently sitting on a record of 3/1/3 so im happy with that, Ive just started another game with the new amazon roster, the one with ma7 runners/catchers, and with fend linos
Anyway, my TV100 amazonians were promptly challenged by TV125 Undead! Not being one to refuse the challenge I accepted, which allowed me to take 250,000 of inducements, so Ive hired...
a 7 3 3 7 Loner Dodge Sure Hands Runner for 120k (base cost + 30k)
a 6 3 3 7 Loner Fend Dirty Player Linewoman for 130k (base cost + 30k +50k for the skill)
fyi, Zara would have costed me 270,000, but i reckon what I have is much better...
its also sweltering, so i could do with the extra bodies, and the DP will hopefully sort out those mummies 
In LRB, taking on a +25TV Undead team is madness, but I am fairly confident with this game! |

OK, I won the kickoff, we both got a Reroll on the kickoff, I targeted a mummy first off and hoped to use DP to get him off, but KO'ed him on the block, also niggled a LOS zombie, dont know if he regens yet and my sure hands runner has the ball now with a bit of protection! might target the ghouls with the DP actually
I forgot to draw cards though, as did my opponent (not fussed on them, great that they are optional!) so Im looking forward to the game, also looking forward to his offence as I try to slow the cage with fend, im playing a guy called munkey, and he is pretty good  |

I wonder why there's always a lot more blood in PBBL than LRB games. At least the ones I've played, there has always been a lot of injuries. Like when I did some damage to those rob's darkies, what, 2 rips -av and MNG? Something like that 
Or maybe it's because I play chaos dwarves... One MB alone got 3 BH on skavens. Then again, MB vs. av 7 is hurt.
Fouling is nerfed a lot in the PBBL, and I'd prefer to get the +1 for the fouler back, since I've done very little damage with fouling, and even that when I got the ref. |

I think I'm coming to join you Rob.
I want to test the new rules and try some new teams. I first will read up some more on the rule changes because with all the new skills there are a lot of differences I recon. |

yeah, the other thing i like is the fact if you get wasted first game, like my Dark elves were by famas CD's in LRB you would be about TR70-80 and almost worth retiring, as i had 5 for next game, but vault allows you to add temporary journeymen who have the loner skill, dont cost anything, but dd to your team value (may use a TRR on a 4-6, rr is lost on a 1-3) to allow you to field 11 for the next game, but only linemen players to the positional limits are allowed etc etc etc, but its definitely fun, shockingly high rate of player turnover so far especially on my DE's, but the chance to make some good stars too without fear of ageing or automatically retiring nigglers
Ive also completed my secod turn, ive stunned some of the opposition, my runner is in position to score next turn, with some fenders around her to cause a bit of annoyance, the amazon roster im testing is slightly less good than LRB amazon (who is?!) out of the blocks, but will be good at mid tr, im debating wether to take wrestle or dodge or even sidestep to disrupt cages on my fend linewomen, Im leaning to wrestle |

turn 3 down, he got one one dicers on me, managed to take the ball away from me, got it back, BH'ed another Zombie!
The darker the colour the stronger the player, so you can see the 2 mummies, light grey are prone, dark grey are stunned, my light blue (#12) is the ball carrier, and my mercenary runner...

ahem, i fiddled about a bit more, juggled the ball some more, tried a foul on a prone ghoul, he was stunned, and i was sent off! typical!
fouling isnt so good in vault, which is a good thing! I am amazed about how im wiping the floor with these undead, 6 of em off the pitch! I really like the Amazonian roster in this game, the LRB roster was just "all or nothing" and bland, and even though i have 7337 guys and 6337 guys, the fend spices things up and offer up a new playstyle... anyway, here is how things look at the minute, unless the undead have a nasty trick up their sleeve i should be 1-0 soon, not going to stall as i dont like it
