It is a classic.

IMO, that scene wasn't particularly disturbing, at least not compared to the rest of the movie.

Because if you can get around the rules by just adding "warning!" signs around it, why have the rules in the first place?

If the purpose of the rule is to prevent anyone from following a link by accident, then having a warning sign should be sufficient in order to follow the spirit of the rule.

If the purpose of the rule is to generally annoy people, then having a warning sign would not be suffient, as that would not be annoying enough, and thus would be against the purpose of the rule.

Then again, he's an admin and he made a decision. Nothing more to add to it. Unless you're an admin too and want to talk about moderating principles. Other than that, it's just wasting breath.
