What I can't figure out is why people who play 'recovery' games both play with full teams. 11 players means you hit your opponent (theoretically) 11 times pers turn (at 16turns/game) this is a theoretical max of 176 Armor rolls. If you both only put 5-6 on the field during a recovery (exhibition match ) game then you would have at max (6x16) 96 Armor rolls. [This is not about 'rigging' a game, but rather playing 'conservative' by not putting in all your players when you opponnent isn't putting in many either.] |

Personally (and you know that Apodemus) I think that when a recovery game is to be played, both players really need to look at each others rosters and perhaps agree to some kind of handicap. People who ask for recovery games and then field a full team with lots of piling on and DP should have a pin drived into their head at birth (IMHO).

You are not allowed to arrange any sort of prematch handicap. This is considered match fixing, and is strictly against the rules. Similary no pregame agreements can be made to field less players. |

There is no such thing as a "recovery game". If you play any game, no matter how many players, you will at some point throw a block. If that block results in RIP then how could it be called a "recovery" game?
Like Mr Klipp says...handicaps arranged = rigged matches.
It's not in the spirit of BloodBowl. Don't do it.
Also, if you have 11 players or more....what are you recovering from? You have a full team!! |

you can play recovery games when you find a coach that is lower rated in TR but has the same STR because half of you
team is ripped. |

Or if you only match one with equal amount of players on the pitch.. Its anyway a match with blocks and the other complete stuff. But still a recovery, cause your opp has similar chances... |

Recovery game is more like Zhluhur said, playing against a similary ST rating team. The recovery act is playing a team that will not risk to bash you, so we think about the elves teams. A team with no DP's, PO's and armor/inj mutations.
For the rest, its what the game is about. You cant put your players on the field for a game without taking the risk of receiving some blocks each turns! |
