hi i have som troble with the connection i seem to ceep losing it, it is very anoying, when i play games.
In the midle of teh game it looses conection, it is trying to reconect at another port, it keeps trying to do this untill it finds a new port.
Do anny one know why this is hapening, yes the game is lost and have to be loaded, very time consuming.

This is what is says when im spectating games:
Spec listen Thread IO Exception.
Connection reset
Closing local sockets.
It is simular to when im playing. |

I get that message when trying to spectate a game that has been dropped. I have never had it occur when playing. |

Maybe it appears, when a spectator tries to connect to your game. If it happens only when you are the server, then only play as client, or maybe theres a fix in the parameters where you could set the number of allowed spectators to 0.
Playing Direct-Connect may work too. |

I have never played as server, onley conected to games.
I have tried turning of the security softwhere, and fore the internet and hardware it have worked before, i have tried reinstaling both fumbbl and the java and no sucess. =( |

i have been having this problem too.
i use a 7mb connection vis a wireless router on Xp |

One would assume, in your case, Lynk, that the wireless router's firewall is preventing the same port being held open, but that's just a guess. Talk about reviving old threads, though..... |
