Traditional Witch Elf developement
I tend to go Frenzy, Dodge, Jump Up, Wrestle, Tackle, Side Step these days; its more or less due to the interaction with the previous skills; and the natural next one is Diving Tackle (due to Tackle and Jump Up).
I have seen the occasional Strip Ball (after wrackle, going block+SB would be asinine unless you have juggernaut already) used. But what alternatives are there?
I can see Wrestle, Tackle, Side Step, Leap, Pro or Leap, Strip Ball; if you go leap like that its bingo if you get Ag+ or a double later - Juggernaut.
But what about, Dauntless, Pro? Generally to get balls from carriers with 4+ in ST and to surf the same of course.

The 1st skill is always block or wrestle, or a double. (Usually mighty blow, or sometimes juggernaut.) In the wrestle route tackle, side step are strong, dauntless is usable too. In the block route you really hope on double into pomb.
I personally don't go the leap, strip ball route, but was on the dauntless, pro route in some instances.

I go Wrestle, Side Step, then Tackle.
Wrestle + Frenzy is generally enough to knock down a Blodger, and Side Step is better to prevent surfs since Witch Elves are often near the side lines.
Leaping without AG 5 is a bit risky in my book.

Both of my witches have leap but also ST4. It can win games and it can lose games. But I tried to go a different route with them to see what happened. But I like them.

So far I've shied away from wrestle, but I see the appeal. I expect to roll one at some point.
I had a mb witch, whom I enjoyed, but unless my team has no Mb I'd definitely go jugger on any witch that rolls doubles. The degree to which your surfs improve is enormous, and surfs are one of the few ways to deal with AV9s (and those are incidentally also the ones who tend to have stand firm.

If you go the jug route, then the appeal of dauntless and pro are increasing, as those with armor 9 may have str 4, or above.

I dont like wrestle on my witches. would rather have block because I want MB on a double on the witch.

I try to develop the witches separately. On stalks the ballcarrier (tackle, wrestler, stripball etc) the other takes on muscle players (block dauntless)
sidestep is great combo with ju
doubles is usually mightblow or juggernaut (jugs leap is good crowd surf combo)
