White Isle League - JOIN US!!
The White Isle League or WIL is now in its 17th season and in my opinion (the only one that counts) is the best league on fumbbl, it has kept me going when bad dice streaks and hissy fits have threatened my fumbbl existence.

It was originally set up as a league for the large and growing number of British coaches looking for a fun league, but anyone who can get their games played is welcome.

Pac got it going and we have gone from strength to strength, leadership, PeteW, PurpleGoo and staff have changed but the core members are still participating, and despite leaving always make their way back, because we are so awesome.

Unfortunately the loss of players in the fumbbl community has finally started to knock on to the league and we are now looking for new members to try and keep the current numbers and league format going.

Speak to any of the staff, or come visit us in our channel #whiteisle for more information. Spubbbba is always looking for fresh blood in the WIL Fringe

Interesting looking league. One thing that seems to be missing, on a very detailed league page, is the "character" of your league. I know this sounds weird, but I think it helps people to know what kind of league they're going into. Is this a fiercely competitive one, a friendly one, one that prides itself on community, etc.

You've obviously got a very successful league going, so this isn't designed as a critical criticism. Just a simple observation :)

The channel is #whiteisle...ignore Jock's spelling.

WIL = awesome. Come along!

TempestBlade, perhaps something we should add indeed, will mention it to the team.

Id say its a very friendly communtity based league, but as you climb the divisions you will find it becomes fiercely competitive, and everyone wants to destroy Britnoth because he won so much.

@TempestBlade:

We are a lively comunity of friendly, competitive, all out attack coaches :-)

Very friendly bunch (apart from me), very amicable games (apart from those with me). There's a good level of coaching in the league (except for when I'm playing) and peeps are always chatty and supportive (except for when I get involved, when it's all-out abuse).

All-round good fun, so if you're UK-based and fancy some quality games it's almost certainly a good choice for you.
