Tattered Rags (Undead) v.s. Gravel (Skaven)

The Tattered Rags won the coin flip and decided to receive. A quick snap allowed the team to adjust their positioning to try and open up some holes for the running game. Things were shaping up nicely until Anwar (Wight) got smushed. A failed regen and he was fertilizer (RIP'd). This didn't seem to phase the Rags as they ploded down the field and scored a TD courtesy of Cadmus (Wight).

On the ensuing kickoff the ratmen reacted quickly and got into position before the kick! This led to the Rags being out of position and watching idlely by as Gonzales (Gutter Runner) streaked in for a quick score before halftime. The Rags got some concillation before halftime as they managed to gangfoul Super Dave (Rat Ogre) out of the game. Halftime: Rags 1, Gravel 1.

The 2nd half had the Rags kicking off. Another quick snap and the ratmen were again off to the races. The ragmen could only watch helplessly (again!) as Gonzales again torched the slow moving defense. The TD came at a price as 2 rats were KO'd wile another two were BH.

With the score 2-1 in favour of the rats, the coach for the Rags called for an even more punishing running game. With the rats shorthanded an easy score was almost guaranteed. But fickle fate saw the rats blitz for the first time all game. Gonzales again settled under the ball and raced the length of the pitch for an easy score.

With the score 3-1 and only 4 turns remaining, the rags set out to score a quick two. They couldn't score the two they needed but did manage a late score for prosperity. Cadmus scored his 2nd TD as the horn blew and with that the first game of the season was over.

Final score: Tattered Rags 2, Gravel 3.

Hats off to well coached game by my opponent: JJ-Dynomite. My boyz hope to see them again in the near future.
