So Obba's favourite star player is Max Spleenripper, he of chainsaw fame. Chainsaw stars make up a significant amount of the top spots actually.

Babes are by and far the most popular inducement (and the cheapest).

Examining the w/d/l stats it seems that inducements do not make a significant alteration to team dynamics, the TV heavy team is still more likely to win. Sure it has narrowed the win/not win ratio for stronger teams, but I don't really see that as a bad thing. The stronger team still has the advantage but the underdog now has a way to even things up somewhat so the better coach has a bigger chance at winning.

My final thought on this subject however is do we have too many inducements? Should we take steps to narrow the gap between teams? Maybe make use if average TW limits per division or extra friendlies for lower TW teams.
