Springfield Brewing Company
As some of you know, I dabble a bit as the brewmaster for the Springfield Brewing Company.

What I'd love to do is to use recommendations on the beers that we currently have on tap. If you have tried any of them and like them, please let me know in this blog or via PM and I'll add you to the list who recommends that beer.

Thanks for your help.

/me raises a pint of the Springfield Brewing Companies finest to all the beer drinkers and alcoholics of fumbbl.

Not tried any of the current stuff, but would heartily recommend any of the Wooden Hand line - http://woodenhand.co.uk/ - my tastes change but Cornish Mutiny is my favourite at the moment.

Also Skinners - http://www.skinnersbrewery.com/ - do a fine range of real ales, with St. Piran's Ale being my favourite, but you can't beat Betty Stoggs or Keel Over.

Finally Milk Street - http://www.milkstreetbrewery.co.uk/ - brewed out of the back of a pub in Frome (I've been there a few times myself), the Funky Monkey is good, as is the wonderfully named Beer!

There´s good beer in the US? Thought it was all fermented horse urine over there... :D
Haven´t tried the Trappiste Rochefort 10 but another Trappist which was excellent.

Trappiste Rochefort 10 is definatly a good one!!! Its Belgian and so am I. One of the better beers we have! Try it if you get a chance!;)

Also check out Delirium Tremens, it has the coolest logo I know of, pink elephants! http://www.delirium.be/Neerlandais/localisation/localisation.html

How about the Wismar's Mumme

Not only did they brew beer the way bavarians are proud of for centuries before that, but they also had to powerfull Mumme a strong dark beer with around 20% alcohol. In the 15th century if you could drink one liter without putting down the class and didn't pass out, get hysterical or sing aloud you got an entry into the town books (which can still be looked at today :) Nowadays it has only a bit below 5% with the 5-year jubilation editions with 10% (the brewery is over 550 years old)

You need to add Broadside, Hobgoblin and Spitfire.

@ Araznaroth: I've got two Trappistes Rochefort 10s in my fridge right now, it is INDEED a very tasty beer.

I would like to add my voice to those singing the praise of Trappistes Rochefort 10. On the whole, Belgian beers hold a very high quality (maybe my Belgian ancestry makes my biased) so I'm a bit surprised not to find Chimay (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/215) or Orval (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/37/129). I can heartily recommend them to you.

Also, since I see an opportunity to be a bit patriotic, I'd like to recommend two really drinkable beers from a brewery in Sweden (yes, weird, I know): Oppigårds Single Hop Ale (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/10903/47070) and Oppigårds Starkporter (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/10903/45178). Damn... writing this made me thirsty. :-D

Enjoy them.:) I visited the brewery once. Its in a monastary. Pretty cool!

Another one of Belgiums finest is West-Vleteren. Very rare. If you find it on a menu, you'll easily pay 10€ for one, you get some cheese with that though:) Its so exclusive you can only buy it at the brewery and its limited to one case per person. Only one bar in my town has it sometimes:)
