Pumpkins!
Well im now near on 30 and I have never made a Jack O'Lanten or as us Brits call em, Halloween type of cut out pumpkin things... I dunno what do we call em?? any ideas?

So right now I have a ton of pumpkin flesh and seeds and not a single clue what to do with it. Your ideas are very welcome!!

One thing I am going to try is:
"Spicy Pumpkin Seeds"
Ingredients
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 teaspoon oil
¼ teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder

Method
Pre heat oven to 180 o C
Combine all the ingredients and spread evenly in a roasting pan.
Roast until golden, about 5 – 10 minutes

Sounds good will put up a nice picture of my results later!

Of the lanten not the seeds!

for the seeds you can also just change out chili and cumin for some salt and bake. simple and tasty

Nice sounding recipe.

I'm trying roasted pumpkin seeds from our pumpkin this year.

I'm going for garlic and paprika, maybe even a bit of sea salt, not too much though.

Take the flesh from yer pumpkin. Add one litre of good chicken stock. Blend until smooth. Chuck as much tabasco, paprika, bay leaf, and garlic in as you can stand. Stir over a low heat until heated through.

Serve with thick brown toast, and some good mulled Cider.

Have some bonfire toffee for dessert, it being that time of year!
