Just Starting out.
I am new to blood bowl, and decided to go with the skaven, as I just recently bought thier battilion in real life. I dont know how its going to work out, they seem a little squishy and unlike the tabletop game, they dont have numbers. DAMN RULES stopping me from fielding 40 lineman, who'da'thunk.

Skaven are a good choice...

However; I'd definately take a couple of Gutter Runners & lose the Rat Ogre to start. Gutters are your meat & potatoe. Don't expect to out bash your opponent as much as to out score them. AV 7 wont last long in an extended fight.

Gutters are indeed the key and are one of the easiest players to skill up for scoring in a single turn... as such fully expect people like me to hunt them down and put the boot in... in a nice friendly community way of course. Good luck mate and have fun!

Good luck with the team. Be careful how you play the Rat Ogre, he is likely to cause many turnovers if used carelessly.

Take advantage of some useful general and race specific articles in the help section.
