Ere we go!
This is more for my own record than anything else.
I have played 2 games of Blood Bowl to date, and I have a tie and a loss to show for it.
I am pretty happy with my performance. I do not have any players out, and I have been able to buy Apothecaries for both of the teams that I played (Orcs & Dark Elves).
I would like to try my hand at playing my Elven Union team tonight to see how I do with an agility team.

As c9805222 says, the 145 club is a great place to start, play other new coaches, learn tips and tricks, and get advice from more experienced players.

I noticed both of your games have been against the same coach. This is acceptable in League play, but not in Ranked, where you should try to avoid consecutive games against the same coach. Welcome to FUMBBL.

If you want to play mostly against one friend, or a group of friends, I guess making League teams as opposed to Ranked ones would be the way to go. As your team increases in value, you should get more options for games on the Game Finder as well. But yeah, I get where you are coming from. At certain times of the day, there just aren't many people around.

If you are going to make league teams, make them Secret League teams. ;)
It will quicker and easier to get "open" matches. More variety of rosters too.
